Proverbs 23:7 KJV.
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee”.
☆☆☆ Please pay keen attention to what the Holy Spirit has to teach us today.
☆☆☆ From our focal scripture, it is very clear that the man in question says a thing but the content of his heart differs.
☆☆☆ What he says is contrary to what he thinks in his heart.
☆☆☆ This is very dangerous even to the man himself.
☆☆☆ Why?
☆☆☆ The bible says, “for as he thinketh in his heart, so is he”.
☆☆☆ The danger is this beloved: the way you think in your heart models your life.
☆☆☆ Beloved, if somebody offends you and you hold so much bitterness against the fellow, you will always be attracted to people with bitter minds.
☆☆☆ For example, if you as a lady gets jilted by a man and you now think in your heart that every man out there is bad; then only bad men will always be asking for your hand in marriage.
☆☆☆ Your thought is simply manifesting in reality.
☆☆☆ You will be attracted to only those people whose description agrees with what is in your heart.
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he”.
☆☆☆ Whatever you have programmed into your heart is what you will become beloved.
☆☆☆ If you hate being rich and you are always thinking of poverty, you will end up in penury.
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he”.
☆☆☆ NOTE THIS, VERY IMPORTANT:
☆☆☆ If you always pretend to be happy when you come across people who are making progress in life while bitterness and wickedness fill your heart, your life can never experience progress and joy.
☆☆☆ What fills your heart is what you will become.
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he”.
☆☆☆ Whatever you see cannot model your life but what your heart sees.
☆☆☆ If you see something good but your heart perceives the opposite, the opposite that you allow into your heart is what you will become.
☆☆☆ For instance, if your eyes see success but failure fills your heart, you can never be successful.
☆☆☆ Moses sent twelve people to spy the land of Canaan, they all saw “impossibility” because of the “Giants” in the land.
☆☆☆ This is their report:
"And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature".
[33] “And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight” – Numbers 13:32-33.
☆☆☆ However, the heart of Joshua and Caleb saw “possibility”.
“And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it” – Numbers 13:30.
☆☆☆ Note that all the twelve spies saw “impossibility” (Giants) in the land but the hearts of Joshua and Caleb saw possibility to possess the land and they did.
☆☆☆ Among the twelve who were sent to search the land, only Joshua and Caleb got to the promised land.
"Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun".
[37] "Even those men that did bring up the evil report upon the land, died by the plague before the Lord ".
[38] "But Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of the men that went to search the land, lived still" - Numbers 14:30,37-38.
PRAYERS :
☆☆☆ Oh God my father, program my heart to think positively in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ Oh ye evil thoughts, my heart is not your habitation in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ Please Lord, purge my heart of every bitterness against myself and my fellow being in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ Let my heart work according to your plan and purpose for my life.
☆☆☆ As I journey through life, let me see possibility in every impossibility that comes across my path.
☆☆☆ Oh God my father, let the better me hidden in my present self, begin to manifest from today.
☆☆☆ My father, my father, please don’t allow me to miss the promised land.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS :
☆☆☆ I pray for you today, may the Lord open your eyes to see the possibility buried in that impossibility starring you in the face.
☆☆☆ I prophesy, your possibilities shall become possible in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ I decree, bitterness will not have a place in your heart.
☆☆☆ I uproot every seed of bitterness that disappointment has planted in your heart.
☆☆☆ I command every seed of discord growing in your heart to die.
☆☆☆ May you become the Giant that your heart sees in you.
☆☆☆ I prophesy, the success story being scripted in your heart is what you will become in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ May you think right, act right and be right in Jesus mighty name. Shalom.
