The Ekiti south development agenda, a group agitating for the emergence of a person from Ekiti south Senatorial district of Ekiti state, an area which has not been previledged to take a shot at governoship since the creation of Ekiti state in 1996, has cautioned former govenor of Ekiti state Segun on the state at which he overates himself saying that apart from the fact that pride goes before, a fall, most of his past Political position were by cheer luck.
According to the statement released to our heritage reporter by Ogundele Oluwaseun said it is pertinent to remind Oni, that he was third in the P.D.P primaries that produced him as governor in 2007, before the court of appeal ousted him.
The group said, he was equally unceremoniously ousted as the deputy national chairman of the rulling All progressive congress.
They also said, the former govenor equally lost the last A.P.C gubernatorial primaries to the incumbent governor Dr Kayode Fayemi.
They submitted, that they wondered, which political glory Oni has been arrogating to himself in Ekiti Politics.
The Ekiti south development agenda said emphatically, that nearly all aspirants from Ekiti south in the two major political parties have credentials and wherewithal to defeat Oni in a free and fair primaries.
The group said it believes empty barrels make, the loudest noise, thus said it remained unperturbed by noise market, by the likes of Oni, who thinks, the state cannot move forward without they. Ekiti south development agenda submitted.
