Why Labake Olododo role is close to my heart— Alaba Ultimate
Juju musician and actor, Alaba Onaolapo, popularly known as Alaba Ultimate, has spoken about his role in the movie, Labake Olododo.
The actor, who played the role of Adigun in the movie noted that the role he played in the movie is very dear to him. He said, Labake Olododo is an epic close to my heart. I have acted in movies and this one is unique having played a major role in its making as the co-executive producer and supporting actor. It is an all-action and colourful movie which tells the story of courage, romance, loyalty and betrayal. It has a lot in it, which I may not be able to divulge. Movie lovers should go and watch it.”
According to him, the film is a pre-colonial Yoruba epic that explores the intricate dynamics of loyalty, power struggles, and leadership. Iyabo Ojo takes on the role of a fearless warrior queen, while Alaba’s character, Adigun, is portrayed as a feisty warrior who plays an integral role in the unfolding drama. The storyline centres around Labake, a courageous warrior, and her loyal associate, Adigun, weaving a tale rich with action, emotion, and suspense.
Created by Fespris Production, FilmOne Studios, and Abazee Productions, the movie is directed by Biodun Stephens, and stars Odunlade Adekola, Fathia Balogun, Mercy Aigbe, Femi Adebayo, Scarlet Gomez, Tayo Faniran, and Rotimi Fakunle, among others.
