WHO IS BANJI ALABI ?

Banji Alabi is one of the illustrious son of Owo kingdom, he was born on January 30, 1962 in Owo, Ondo-State south western part of Nigeria to family of Chief Alabi Osokiya, a foremost Western Nigeria building contractor and Madam Abigail Simisola Alabi, a textile trader and sewing mistress. Both are of blessed memory.
Alabi attended the prestigious Imade College, Owo, for his secondary School education and Ondo State Polytechnic, Owo (now RUGIPO) where he bagged OND in Accountancy and later, Yaba college of Technology,Yaba, Lagos for HND in Accountancy.
As an individual who have strong passion for education he furthered to seek for more knowledge,this took him to the Lagos State University where he earned a Bachelor of Law degree (LLB) after which he was awarded Barrister at Law (BL) by the Nigerian Law School.
Banji Alabi is now a great accountant and foremost tax consultant well known across the Nation.
Alabi joined Chevron Nigeria Ltd., one of the foremost global energy companies in the world in December, 1990. While at Chevron, he had in-house experience in law, finance and taxation practice for 24 years, but opted for early retirement in June 2014 to set up a law firm & real estate development company. Alabi is the Managing Solicitor at Banji Alabi & Co.
He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation Of Nigeria (CITN) and a member of the prestigious Lagos Polo Club. Until his appointment, Alabi was the Chairman, Ondo State Eminent Persons Group.
And the his level of experience and exposure well noticed by the Governor of Ondo State Arakunrin Akeredolu made him convince to apoitnt Banji Alabi as the chairman Governing council of the Rufus giwa polythecnic owo ondo state, and this position he still hold to up till date.
Banji Alabi has been a heavy tool for the propagation of Aketi 4+4 because Akeredolu has performed creditable and delivered excellently, he is worthy for reelection.
