WHAT TYPE OF “IRON” ARE YOU? : Pastor Isaac Olutimehin

Proverbs 27:17 KJV.
“Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend”.
*MESSAGE*
☆☆☆ We often quote this verse of the scripture to indicate that ministers of God are expected to lift up one another spiritually.
☆☆☆ Even brethren are equally expected to encourage and lift up one another both physically and spiritually.
☆☆☆ This verse could also be interpreted to mean, while helping others, you are equally helping yourself.
☆☆☆ For example, when an iron comes in contact with another iron, both of them will certainly become sharp.
☆☆☆ Even if both were blunt before, they will surely become sharp after having contact with each other.
☆☆☆ If an iron however comes in contact with a wooden object, the wooden object will be wounded while the iron itself will become blunt.
☆☆☆ If you are an iron that takes delight in “wounding” every wooden object you come across, remember also that you will gradually be loosing your sharpness.
☆☆☆ We must also note that there are some wooden objects that take delight in making hitherto sharp irons to become blunt.
☆☆☆ Such wooden objects won’t mind the pains because their major assignment is to destroy the iron.
☆☆☆ Beloved, try to be an iron that sharpens others so that both of you can become sharper rather than being an instrument of pains and agonies to others.
☆☆☆ For any iron to maintain its sharpness, it must constantly be having contacts with other iron.
☆☆☆ No iron must look down on the other because they will certainly benefit from each other.
☆☆☆ If an iron engages in frequeht activities but refuses to have contacts with other iron, it will soon be out of relevance.
☆☆☆ It is unfortunate today that most irons are no longer sharpening the “countenance of his friend”.
☆☆☆ Many have become agents of destruction.
☆☆☆ A word for such an iron is that you will soon become blunt, lose your sharpness and fade out of relevance.
*PRAYERS*
1. Oh God my father, don’t allow me to be a destroyer of your good works.
2. I refuse to engage in any activity capable of eroding my sharpness.
3. Father, separate me from any friend who is a likely wood that will render my iron blunt.
4. Oh God my father, where the activities of men have compelled my fire to run down, please rekindle your fire upon my life.
5. Don’t allow me to become too cold and comfortable for the devil to inhabit.
6. Oh God my creator, let every challenge of life, trying to pull me down, expire now in Jesus name.
7. Father, please connect me with an enabler who you will use to facilitate the fulfillment of my destiny in Jesus name.
8. My contact with people shall bring joy and happiness to men in Jesus name.
9. Father, don’t allow my life to bring confusion, embarrassment and disgrace to the body of Christ.
10. My presence and the sound of my voice shall inspire and encourage others in Jesus name.
*PROPHETIC DECLARATION*
I pray for a reader of this message today, may you not engage in activities that will cause you to lose your sharpness in Jesus name.
I decree and declare, every iron that has become blunt, the Lord will connect you with those that will sharpen you up in Jesus name.
I decree, every iron that has become agent of destruction shall become blunt in Jesus name.
I decree and declare, the Lord shall separate you from every wooden object targeting to destroy your sharpness in Jesus name.
May you not be coerced and be edged out of relevance in Jesus mighty name.
The Lord will sharpen you both physically and spiritually in Jesus name.
Remain “touch not” for the wicked in the wonderland of the atmosphere of miracles.
