WATCH – THERE IS DEATH WAITING ON THE LIPS, DON’T ACTIVATE IT : Pastor Isaac Olutimehin

2 Samuel 1:16 KJV.
“And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the Lord’s anointed”.
*MESSAGE*
☆☆☆ Saul and his two sons had fallen in battle and a young man (an Amalekite) came to break the news to David.
☆☆☆ David was very much distressed and still did not believe that Saul and his two sons could die, just like that.
☆☆☆ So he decided to get more information from the messenger 👇
_And David said unto the young man that told him, How knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son be dead?_
☆☆☆ The young man replied, “it happened by chance on mount Gilboa”, that he was close by when Saul fell upon his own sword because the enemies were too close.
☆☆☆ The young man now said further that Saul then made a request 👇
_”He said unto me again, Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life is yet whole in me” – 2 Samuel 1:9._
☆☆☆ This Amalekite further said to David with his own mouth 👇
_”So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord” – 2 Samuel 1:10._
☆☆☆ Beloved, has it occurred to you that this Amalekite actually killed himself with his own mouth!!!
☆☆☆ The truth was that he wanted to gain favour from David by confessing that he slew Saul, the long time enemy of David.
☆☆☆ He actually lied beloved. He wasn’t the one who killed Saul, Saul committed suicide.
☆☆☆ Look at this 👇
_”And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit him; and he was sore wounded of the archers”.
[4] “Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it”.
[5] “And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise upon his sword, and died with him” – 1 Samuel 31:3-5._
☆☆☆ From this passage, tell me; was it the Amalekite who killed Saul? The answer is No.
☆☆☆ This Amalekite just wanted to gain cheap popularity but he lost his life in the process.
☆☆☆ Many people today don’t know how to manage information and they run into trouble.
☆☆☆ Even divine information needed to be handled with much wisdom.
☆☆☆ In the Holy Ghost Service of June 5, 1998; the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God; our beloved daddy G.O, Pastor E.A Adeboye had requested us to start celebrating and be greeting one another happy new year.
☆☆☆ While many of us were still wondering why “happy new year in June”, he now went further to say that before we returned for the July Holy Ghost Service, we would have discovered why.
☆☆☆ 3 days later, on June 8, 1998; the head of state of Nigeria then, General Sani Abacha was dead.
☆☆☆ Now tell me, what do you think would have happened if daddy G.O had said then that there would be a change of government in Nigeria?
☆☆☆ Today, some people will go to parties, acting as big men who they are not.
☆☆☆ Some will even be spending borrowed money and riding in hired automobiles.
☆☆☆ Tomorrow when they run into trouble, they would have forgotten that their actions were responsible.
☆☆☆ There are some others who will apply for contracts, because of the contacts and connections they have, they will now go about boasting and even be spending the money they haven’t received.
☆☆☆ Eventually if the contract is cancelled or given to someone else, they will now run into trouble.
☆☆☆ Beloved, it is good to share your testimonies but be careful in doing so. Some give their testimony ahead of its manifestation and sometimes ignorantly attracting unnecessary attacks.
☆☆☆ Watch beloved, so that you won’t attract death with your own mouth.
“And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee”.
*PRAYERS* 👇
1. Oh God my father, give me the wisdom to manage divine information in Jesus name.
2. My mouth, oh ye my mouth; you will not become a source of my death in Jesus name.
3. Oh God my creator, don’t allow my mouth to become the sword of my own destruction in Jesus name.
4. Father, please don’t allow my mouth to become the architect of my own misfortune in Jesus name.
5. My mouth will not destroy my testimony ahead of its manifestation in Jesus name.
6. Father, please guide my lips and order them to attract my breakthrough in Jesus name.
7. *Confession* : In the name of Jesus, I will be alive to share my testimonies with my own mouth in Jesus mighty name.
*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS* 👇
I pray for somebody today, may your mouth not testify against you in Jesus name.
You will not use your own mouth to destroy your future in Jesus name.
Your mouth shall bring you good fruits in Jesus name.
Many are in bondage today because of the misuse of their tongue. May the Lord guide you to use your tongue wisely and correctly in Jesus name.
â– â– â– “He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction” – Proverbs 13:3.
May your own mouth not become the architect of your destruction in Jesus name.
â– â– â– Many people had lost out in the battle of life because they couldn’t keep their mouth.
I pray for you again, in the battle of life; your own mouth will not become your sword of destruction in Jesus name.
I prophesy, your mouth shall become a channel of blessing to you and many others in Jesus mighty name.
