Violence mars APGA guber primary
…As delegates fume over failure by SWC to hold election
Violence has marred the governorship primary election of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Imo State, billed to hold on Sunday at the party’s Secretariat Owerri.
The violence was provoked by the gluttonous attitude of some of the leaders of the party who were accused of shortchanging some aspirants who were said to have paid hugely for the Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms of the party.
It was gathered that delegates were angry over the misdeed of the leaders of the party, warning that if the party leadership fails to do the needful, APGA might not have a candidate for the governorship election of November 11 2023.
