VINDICATE ME OH LORD : Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
TEXT:
Genesis 39:16-18 KJV.
“And she laid up his garment by her, until his lord came home”.
[17] “And she spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me”:
[18] “And it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled out”.
*MESSAGE*
☆☆☆ Today, every reader of the bible now knows the truth of what actually transpired between Joseph and Potiphar’s wife.
☆☆☆ When this incident happened however, it was the story that Potiphar’s wife told her husband that he believed.
☆☆☆ Potiphar’s wife wanted Joseph to sleep with her but Joseph resisted her and eventually fled for his life.
☆☆☆ There were lots of very strong ‘evidences’ against Joseph that were difficult to defend or deny:
☆☆☆ His torn garment was in Potiphar wife’s hand because the garment got torn while Joseph was struggling to free himself.
☆☆☆ You may now want to ask, if Joseph was not guilty as charged, why did he run away?
☆☆☆ Joseph was not in the house when Potiphar, his boss, came back because he fled for his life.
☆☆☆ To worsen the whole scenario, none of the other servants were around to witness exactly what happened.
☆☆☆ For the bible recorded👇
“And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within” – Genesis 39:11.
☆☆☆ The cries of Potiphar’s wife attracted other men who were somewhere around.
“That she called unto the men of her house, and spake unto them, saying, See, he hath brought in an Hebrew unto us to mock us; he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice” – Genesis 39:14.
☆☆☆ These were very strong “evidences” that no jury would have been able to defend.
☆☆☆ It was the Lord who really vindicated Joseph and put Potiphar and his wife to shame.
☆☆☆ To vindicate means, to clear someone of an accusation, suspicion or criticism.
☆☆☆ For the bible says👇
“Vindicate me, O LORD, for I have walked in my integrity; I have [relied on and] trusted [confidently] in the LORD without wavering and I shall not slip” – Psalm 26:1 AMP
☆☆☆ Beloved, it takes God to clear a man of wrong accusations, particularly when all the ‘evidences’ are so tight.
☆☆☆ We all now know the true story of what actually transpired between Joseph and the wife of Potiphar.
☆☆☆ Beloved, if Potiphar’s wife had known that her lies against Joseph would dethrone her husband and pave the way for Joseph to become the second in command to Pharaoh, she wouldn’t have done what she did.
☆☆☆ Read through the bible and you will discover that immediately Joseph came on board as the second in command to Pharaoh, nothing was heard about Potiphar and his wife anymore.
☆☆☆ God had programmed the lifting of Joseph to be accomplished through a lie against him.
☆☆☆ Beloved, before some people can ascend the height of greatness, they may have to be incarcerated first.
☆☆☆ Before you can become the next president of your country, you may have to pass through the prison.
☆☆☆ That was the case of a former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo.
☆☆☆ Late Nelson Mandela, of South Africa, had the same fate too.
☆☆☆ If God had programmed it that you will suffer persecution before being promoted, you cannot escape it beloved.
☆☆☆ Anyone God has destined for greatness must surely pass through the route God has programmed for him to arrive his destination.
☆☆☆ The interesting thing about God is that, he can use those who are opposed to your lifting to be instrumental to your promotion.
*PRAYERS:*
1. Oh God my father, please take over my battles and fight for me.
2. Father, please vindicate me from all the lies packaged against me.
3. Father, consume with your fire all the false evidences packaged against me to bring me down.
4. Oh God my father, please let all the secrets behind my travails be exposed and deliver me today.
5. Father, please reward my trust in you with bountiful testimonies just like you did for Joseph.
6. Father, repackage my life and reintroduce me to my persecutors and let those who are secretly ganging up against me be disgraced.
7. Please Lord, guide my foot steps and prevent me from falling into errors in Jesus name.
8. Father, let my enemies fall into the trap they have set for me in Jesus name.
9. Please Lord, put a permanent end to all my troubles and let my season of refreshing begin now in Jesus name.
10. Father, let my life run according to your script that you have written concerning me.
*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS*
I pray for you today and I decree, every lie packaged against you, which has led you to the dungeon; shall become instrumental to your lifting in Jesus name.
I decree and declare, every manipulated and sponsored evidence packaged to nail you shall become the ladder for your greatness in Jesus name.
Once again, I decree, every Haman in your life shall sponsor you to limelight in Jesus mighty name.
I prophesy, your Joseph is coming out of the dungeon to fulfill his mandate.
May your own “Potiphar’s wife” know no peace until she has unconsciously sponsored you to greatness in Jesus name.
You will survive this storm and your current challenges shall surely end in praises.
Happy Day.
You are blessed.
