US Group Condemns APC National Secretary’s Unethical Behavior
The entire members and leadership of Atlanta progressive has condemned the fraudulent behavior of the party’s National secretary, senator Ajibola Basiru
The group in a statement signed and released to newsmen by Dr Titi Balogun, of the Atlanta progressive in USA,the group expressed dissatisfaction in his reprehensible actions, highlighted by his criminal promise to misuse NIDCOM consultancy services to repay monies illegally extorted from the Diaspora, have tarnished the name of our great party.

We, the Progressives in Atlanta, USA, unequivocally condemn the fraudulent activities and disgraceful conduct of the APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru. His reprehensible actions, highlighted by his criminal promise to misuse NIDCOM consultancy services to repay monies illegally extorted from the Diaspora, have tarnished the name of our great party.
Senator Basiru’s behaviour, as documented in the letter dated 20th December 2024 and signed by him, is an affront to decency and the principles of transparency and accountability that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration upholds. His admission of fraudulent practices, brazenly signed on the party’s letterhead, demonstrates a level of desperation unbecoming of a national officer of the APC. This is the final straw.
NIDCOM is a national agency, not a partisan tool for shady consultancy schemes or a repository for covering up illicit dealings. Senator Basiru’s antics insult the integrity of our party and shame our nation. His fraudulent rampage must be halted immediately.
We call on the party leadership, stakeholders and Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to act decisively and promptly commence a full investigation into the atrocities of the National Secretary and demand Senator Ajibola Basiru’s resignation. His continued presence in this esteemed position undermines the party’s credibility and tarnishes the spirit of the Renewed Hope agenda.
The APC must rise above these disgraceful acts and reaffirm its commitment to integrity, accountability, and service to the people. Individuals who exploit public institutions for personal gain have no place in our party.
