It is disheartening to witness the continued suffering of the people of Ekiti State as they bear the brunt of dishonest governance and lack of accountability. The misuse of public funds not only undermines food security efforts but also erodes trust in the government and its ability to serve the needs of its citizens. It is unacceptable that those who raise their voices against such injustices are met with intimidation, arrest, and detention.

In a democracy, it is the right of every citizen to express their grievances and demand transparency and accountability from their leaders. The people of Ekiti State must not be silenced or bullied into submission, but rather empowered to stand up for their rights and demand justice for themselves and future generations. It is imperative that civil society organizations, advocacy groups, and human rights defenders come together to support and protect those who speak truth to power.

BAO has neglected many roads in Ekiti that are in need of attention, choosing instead to focus on a flyover that does not benefit the average person in Ekiti.

The roads from Ado to Afe Babalola, Ado to Afao to Igbemon (known as kidnapper hideouts), Ado to Aramoko to Erio, Ode Ekiti to Ijesha Isu, Ijesha Isu to Ikole, and others are all in poor condition.

Ekiti deserves a better leader than BAO.
