Jeremiah 5:26 KJV.
“For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men”.
☆☆☆ “For among my people are found wicked men”.
☆☆☆ Among the people of God are found wicked men.
☆☆☆ Among those you walk hand in hands with going to the place of worship.
☆☆☆ This is not talking about strangers now.
☆☆☆ Among your fellow brethren, among your colleagues in the office.
☆☆☆ Surprisingly, among your relatives are found wicked men.
☆☆☆ Among your “trusted friends” are found wicked men.
☆☆☆ The bible says, “they set a trap, they catch men”.
☆☆☆ Talking about setting traps, don’t look for those kind of traps set to catch rats, No, not at all.
☆☆☆ Even when you set a trap for rats, you go to sleep expecting to return the following day to find a rat already caught by your trap.
☆☆☆ This set of wicked men however plant their own traps to catch fellow men.
☆☆☆ “They lay wait” to watch their victims fall into such traps.
☆☆☆ As a lady, if you need a job and somebody is dangling a job offer before you with a mouth watering package, you better watch it.
☆☆☆ It could be a trap to lure you into prostitution.
☆☆☆ It is no longer news today that some of the ladies who were promised “free visa” and sponsorship abroad, realise too late that they have been initiated as professional prostitutes.
☆☆☆ Again if somebody is suddenly becoming unnecessarily too close and friendly, wisdom demands these days that you watch out.
☆☆☆ Such an individual may have something more sinister up his sleeves.
The bible says:
"For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it : neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him": [13] "But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance". [14] "We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company" - Psalm 55:12-14.
☆☆☆ You just have to be careful beloved before you join in any discussion these days.
☆☆☆ You might be the target of those who initiated the discussion.
☆☆☆ And yet they are your supposed friends or even relatives.
☆☆☆ All they are waiting for is your own contribution which they can hold on to, twist it and later use same against you.
The Psalmist was once a victim of this and he said:
"Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil". [6] "They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul" - Psalm 56:5-6.
☆☆☆ Beloved, as you journey through this Christian race, let this message minister to your soul.
☆☆☆ Watch who you call your friends because they may be unfriendly friends.
☆☆☆ Watch what you say because it may be a snare to catch you.
☆☆☆ If you have a sudden invitation to attend a function, please don’t go alone.
☆☆☆ Let your wife or children or your parents know your movements.
☆☆☆ “For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men”.
PRAYERS:
☆☆☆ Please pray the following prayers with a holy anger.
☆☆☆ Father, in the name of Jesus, I unmask every devil parading himself as my friend.
☆☆☆ Oh God my father, unmask every devil presenting himself/herself as my helper.
☆☆☆ I unmask every representative of the devil in my place of work.
☆☆☆ Among my supposed friends and colleagues, Oh God my father, please unmask and disgrace those who are feeding the devil with information concerning the progress of my life.
☆☆☆ Every demonic counsellor giving me negative counsels, you are unmasked in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ There is no hiding place for the devil in my life.
☆☆☆ Oh God my father, make my life, home and family too hot for the devil to hybernate.
☆☆☆ I command the fire of the Holy Ghost to unveil every satanic agent blocking my breakthrough.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:*
☆☆☆ I pray for you this day and I decree, you will not step into and become a victim of the traps of men.
☆☆☆ The snare of the fowler will not cut short the fulfillment of your destiny.
☆☆☆ You will not fall into to the hands of the wicked to satisfy his lust.
☆☆☆ I decree and declare, your unfriendly friends shall become a prey of the same trap they have set for you in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ May you receive the spirit of discernment to know when the wicked is waiting to ensnare you by the words of your mouth.
☆☆☆ May God use this prayer message to open your eyes so you can be on your guard.
