One of the foremost leader of the youth group in Ivo Local government area of Ebonyi State, comrade Egu Richard have expressed satisfaction in the declaration of Gov Umahi presidential ambition saying it’s a better move to heal the Nigerians injuries suffered in the time past.
Comrade Egu Richard in an interview with our heritage Reporters feed up answers to the following interview questions of our correspondence on needs for Nigerians to support Umahi candidacy.

“Now that Governor Umahi have finally declared his presidential ambition what would you have to say?”
Every visionary leader that have the interest of the people in their heart with administrative intelligence to serve purposefully, to change the narratives and disposition of the polity of the Nation will always like to take a new challenge in rescue mission for the interest of the people.
The above narratives is the true picture of Engr. Umahi declaration for the Nigeria Number one sit ambition.
If Umahi had not declared for Presidency, many people especially south easterners and northerners would not be pleased with him, based on the score line of his administration in Ebonyi state, he is been seen as the best to rescue Nigeria Nation from the present imbroglios.
“Been a new man in APC how did you think he can win the part tickets among other heavy weight in the party?”
We cannot just say Umahi is a new man in the party, it’s all about political will and sagacity, when an individual have the administrative capability, national structures, detribalisation and consistency based on past records and achievements, people will vote for such, it’s not about taking up new challenge in a political party.
Former vice president, Atiku Abubarkar defected from Apc to Pdp in 2018 and he was given the party tickets same with many other candidates in the previous elections.
Therefore, Gov. Umahi have the political strength to get the APC tickets irrespective of his time in the party and to also deliver necessarily in healing the injured Nigeria Nation.
“What can you say about prowess and capabilities of Engr Umahi in taking the role of Nigeria number one sit?”
I could remember that Umahi was once a PDP chairman for his state and as well ,he has been in other big positions as far as politics is concerned which he has preformed creditably well, presently, we have been seeing a lot of people, different groups soliciting and supporting Umahi candidacy from across all the six geo political zones and it’s all about the confidence they have in him.
We all know powers belongs to God, God is the alpha and omega, as been confessed by Gov Umahi that the president made it known to him publicly that anyone that will be president of Nigeria must consult and canvass widely, to ascertain if such person agenda is in line with the needs of the people.
Therefore, given the nation Nigeria to Umahi to lead is more or less enlarging his coat to deliver wider because he has done that in Ebonyi State and the records are there to speak loudly.
“Your advice to easterners and Nigerian on the 2023 general election”
Northerners should support their own, southerners should support their own and all of us should support one Nigeria, we must also love ourselves, no one should take another person life.
We must support ourselves to move the country forward, the leader must also put in all paremeters to bring out the best in the youths.
We must know the kind of person to give leadership preference and support to, as a nation we must not miss it again in 2023.
We must also projects the core values of Nigeria especially as it contained in the national anthem and national pledge, to defend and uphold nigeria Nation.
We must bring In a capable and ready minded person with the interest of the people to lead in other to make our Nation Nigeria great again.
