It is not how long you have occupied a particular position in life, but what matters is how many lives you have affected with the position you occupied.

Every human being created by God, was created to make an endless impact. Once you understand your purpose in life, it becomes easy for you to make an endless impact to your generations.

According to the holy scripture in, 1 Corinthians 12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

All these divers gifts were given for the benefit of mankind.

Having x-rayed the alluded points, it is pertinent to enter into my today’s write up, with the caption “Ugo Ndi Obowo: The woman that will change the narratives in Okigwe South Federal Constitutency”

Okigwe South Federal Constitutency at one time or other have witnessed representatives, some may be remembered while others many not, owing to their excellent or poor performances.

Notably, Obowo, Ihitte Uboma and Ehime Mbano are all under the Okigwe south federal Constitutency.
If we must get it right this time around equity and fairness must be considered.

From the history of this Constitutency, no woman has ever being given the opportunity to represent the aforementioned Constitutent.May I beg to digress a bit; Imo state has 27 Local government areas, of which there are representatives both at the national and state Assembly. But it will interest you all to know that, at the Imo state house of Assembly, there are only two female lawmakers, Hon. Dr. Uju Onwudiwe ( Igolo Njaba) member representing the good people of Njaba state Constituency and Hon. Mrs Ngozi Obiefule member representing Isu state Constituency.

While at the national Assembly, is only one female legislator, Hon. Mrs Mirriam Onuoha member representing Okigwe North at the green chamber.

From the foregoing you will agree with me that, this against the global principal of women inclusiveness and gender equity in political leadership and elective positions and as such should be corrected in next year’s general election.

2023 General election is the only chance this abnormalities is to be corrected through the election of Hon. Mrs Chinwedu Edomobi Amba popularly called Ugo Ndi Obowo to represent Okigwe South at green chamber of the National Assembly.

Hon. Mrs Chinwedu Edomobi Amba is currently the Special Adviser/ FCT Focal Person on Social Investment Programme (SIP) to the Honourable Minister of State FCT, Abuja.

She is also the founder of Rosebon Empowerment Initiative (REIN), which recently empowered 120 beneficiaries with FREE 2022 UTME (JAMB) REGISTRATIONS, across Obowo LGA and purchase of free WAEC FORMS for qualified candidates, on Friday 11th March, 2022.

Through her foundation she has helped to empower a lot of women, men and youths beyond Obowo to become self sufficient and improve their livelihood, as well as better ambassadors in the society.

Through her office, as the Special Adviser/ FCT Focal Person on Social Investment Programme (SIP) to the Honourable Minister of State FCT, Abuja, she has embarked on sensitization tour to different state which include Imo state explaining how they can assess the federal government poverty intervention loans and Empowerment programs.

Before Now, Ugo Ndi Obowo has empowered a lot of Imo sons and daughters, especially those that came in contact with her, some of these programs initiated by the federal government of President Mohammadu Buhari; which she has sensitized and helped Obowo indigens to apply and participate includes : N-power programme which was designed to assist young Nigerians between the ages of 18 to 35 to acquire and develop life-long skills for becoming change makers in their communities and players in the domestic and global markets and given a stipend of N30,000 montly for graduates while 10,000 monthly for non- graduate.

Investigation has it that, Hon. Mrs. Chinwendu Edomobi Amba wonderful performance in her office earned her this prestigious award to the glory of God and mankind.

Recently the public was informed of the news that, Hon. Mrs. Chinwendu Edomobi Amba emerged first position (winner) among 10 states shortlisted for awards as the most transparent and corruption free N-SIP Focal Persons across the 36 states and the FCT.

Hon. Mrs. Amba and the FCT N-SIP won the AMBASSADOR OF ETHICS & CONSCIENCES AWARD and was also given CORPORATE CERTIFICATE OF CREDENCE by the Center For Ethics and Self Value Orientation (CESVO).

Owing to her, sterling performance in rendering selfless service to humanity the people of her Federal Constitutency over the weekend called on her to be the voice that will change the narratives of her people by coming to contest the position of their National Assembly house of representatives,of which after due consultation she has accepted to run for 2023 general election to Represent her constituency in the green chamber. To God alone be all the glory for the manifestation of His works on our dear Ugo ndi Obowo. Let’s make things happen in Obowo again.
