TURNING THE WANDERER TO A BUNDLE OF WONDERS – Pastor Issac Olutimehin
TEXT
Genesis 37:15-17 KJV.
“And a certain man found him, and, behold, he was wandering in the field: and the man asked him, saying, What seekest thou”?
[16] “And he said, I seek my brethren: tell me, I pray thee, where they feed their flocks”.
[17] “And the man said, They are departed hence; for I heard them say, Let us go to Dothan. And Joseph went after his brethren, and found them in Dothan”.
☆☆☆ Jacob had sent Joseph, his son, to take food to his brothers who had gone to feed the flock at Shechem.
☆☆☆ From the statement of Jacob to Joseph, it was clear that was not the first time Joseph would be going to give food to his brothers, even at Shechem.
☆☆☆ But this time round, the bible recorded that he missed his way, “he was wandering in the field”.
☆☆☆ We were told that “a certain man found him” and asked Joseph, what seekest thou?
☆☆☆ Joseph now told him that he was looking for his brethren.
☆☆☆ Beloved, this “certain man” had answers to all the issues bordering the mind of Joseph.
☆☆☆ The search for his brothers, running through the mind of Joseph, had made him a wanderer rather than being a shepherd boy who he really was.
☆☆☆ This “certain man” knew where the brethren of Joseph were.
☆☆☆ Meanwhile, Joseph was even looking for them in the wrong location.
☆☆☆ They were already in Dothan but Joseph was busy looking for them in Shechem.
☆☆☆ How would he have found them if not for this “certain man”.
☆☆☆ This “certain man” even listened to the private discussion of Joseph’s brothers.
☆☆☆ He knew their movement and present location, so he was able to direct Joseph.
☆☆☆ Joseph eventually located his brothers.
☆☆☆ Beloved, many people are in the world today “wandering” about in the wilderness of life, like Joseph.
☆☆☆ Joseph actually knew what he was looking for but yet couldn’t find it.
☆☆☆ He thought he knew the right location of what he was looking for, behold, he was very wrong.
☆☆☆ Many people are today looking for the answers to the issues of their lives in wrong places.
☆☆☆ All they need is “a certain man”. This “certain man” who has answers to all the challenges of life is Jesus.
☆☆☆ Jesus said 👇
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” – Matthew 11:28.
☆☆☆ There is a sister out there, reading this prayer message, the Lord said I should tell you, stop searching for your husband on the internet, look up unto Jesus and your search will be over.
☆☆☆ The Lord said I should tell another individual out there, forgive that fellow who has offended you and ways will open for you.
☆☆☆ Young lady, don’t take that negative step you are about taking, God is set to wipe away your tears.
☆☆☆ Finally, God said I should tell you, you have been searching for solution to your problem all to no avail, you know yourself; Jesus is set to help you if only you can surrender your life fully to him.
PRAYERS
1. Oh God my father, take me out of the wilderness of life to my place of settlement in Jesus name.
2. Father, take over the challenges of my life which has turned me to a wanderer.
3. Lord, I am tired of relying on my knowledge, I need your help, please help me out Lord.
4. My father, my father, make me a recipient of your wonders without number in Jesus name.
5. Oh God my creator, let my own “certain man” locate me this season in Jesus name.
6. Father, I am being weighed down by the load of debts hanging on me, you who paid the debt of the woman in 2 Kings 4:1-7; daddy please pay off my debts in Jesus name.
7. Father, you made a way for the children of Israel through the red sea, make ways for me where men thought there is no more hope for me.
8. Let my life become a proof of your faithfulness in Jesus name.
9. Father, you opened the eyes of Hagar to find water for Ishmael, her son; reveal to me Lord the secret of success in Jesus name.
10. Father, don’t allow me to be coerced to search for solution in the wrong directions in Jesus name.
PROPHETIC PRAYERS
I don’t know what has turned you to a “wanderer” in the journey of life but I prophesy,” Jesus will step into your case today in Jesus name.
Joseph found his brothers in Dothan. I decree and declare, the Lord is taking you out of the wrong point to the right location as you journey through life in Jesus name.
To a particular woman out there, I prophesy, you are blessed with the fruit of the womb you have been trusting the Lord for in your marriage in Jesus name.
To another individual, I again prophesy, that favour you are busy searching out for in business, shall be divinely released to you this season in Jesus name.
That job you have been eagerly searching out for, which has turned you to a wanderer; shall the Lord make available for you from today in Jesus name.
To every student out there, reading this prayer message, I prophesy, God shall grant you admission into that institution he has prepared for you in Jesus name.
This is for a particular student out there, I decree, God shall miraculously be paying your school fees henceforth in Jesus name.
To a particular family, I prophesy, your debt that has become a burden to you, shall be miraculously and divinely settled in Jesus name.
You will receive answers to all the challenges of your life in Jesus name.
Enjoy heaven’s special treatment in the wonderland of the atmosphere of miracles.
