Trump To Sign Executive Orders Recognising Only Male, Female Sexes

President-elect Donald Trump on Monday plans to sign executive orders proclaiming that the U.S. government will recognize only two sexes, male and female, and ending “radical and wasteful” diversity, equity and inclusion programs inside federal agencies, according to senior White House officials.
The officials grouped both orders under the incoming Trump administration’s wider “restoring sanity” agenda, NBC News reports.

The official presented the gender order as part of a policy “defending women from gender ideology extremism and restoring biological truth to the federal government.”
The executive order seeks to mandate the federal government to use the term “sex” rather than “gender” and directs the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security to ensure that official government documents, such as passports and visas, accurately reflect sex.
Additionally, the order will prevent taxpayer money from being used for gender-transition health care and will enforce “privacy in intimate spaces” in facilities like prisons, migrant shelters, and rape crisis centers.
Trump campaigned on rolling back protections for transgender and nonbinary individuals, highlighting this stance in television ads, including one that aired frequently in key swing states like Pennsylvania.
One of the most prominent ads stated, “Kamala is for them/them. President Trump is for you.”
The second order, as outlined by an incoming White House official, aims to terminate what the administration calls “radical and wasteful” diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs and preferential treatment within the federal government.
