Tinubu: I’m Ready To Get Dirty, I need the prayers and cooperation of our highly regarded traditional authorities
Tinubu, who is running for president on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, stated on Sunday that he was willing to get dirty in order to win the presidency in 2023.
Our heritage reporter reports that he mentioned this during a meeting with Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, the Alaafin of Oyo, and Oba Lekan Balogun, the Olubadan-designate.
His words: “No amount of intimidation can stop me. I am ready to get dirty. I am out to become President of Nigeria. We are at a crossroads.”
“I cannot start on an undertaking of such size without seeking the prayers and support of the traditional rulers,” he said earlier at the Alaafin’s palace.
“I’ve come to notify our forefathers of my intention to run for President of this country in 2023.”

“Today, by the special grace of God in Yorubaland unlike before we have the Vice-President, the Minister of Works, Interior and Sports but we still need more.”
Responding, Oba Adeyemi, who invoked the spirits of his fore-bearers, said his request has been granted.
Tinubu claimed that all of Yorubaland’s ancestors would act in his favor and answer his requests.
As a result, he asked the ten Oke-Ogun traditional rulers present at the meeting if they agreed with his choice, and they said, “We are entirely in support.”
