Joshua 24:32 KJV.
“And the bones of Joseph, which the children of Israel brought up out of Egypt, buried they in Shechem, in a parcel of ground which Jacob bought of the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem for an hundred pieces of silver: and it became the inheritance of the children of Joseph”.
*MESSAGE*
☆☆☆ Joseph had entered into an oath with his brethren that they must not leave his bones in Egypt when God visited them 👇
“And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence” – Genesis 50:25.
☆☆☆ The question now is “why carry up my bones from hence”?
☆☆☆ Joseph knew the implication of his bones being left behind in Egypt.
☆☆☆ Joseph was dead and buried but his bones were still alive.
☆☆☆ You will recall that when Elisha died, his bones brought a dead man back to life. Read 2 Kings 13:21.
☆☆☆ So Elisha died but his bones were not dead.
☆☆☆ You will also recall that the children of Israel were in captivity in Egypt for over 400 years and yet, the bones of Joseph were still available when they were leaving.
☆☆☆ Beloved, bones don’t die.
☆☆☆ Bones have spiritual connotations in the life of man.
☆☆☆ When Eve was brought to Adam by God, Adam said 👇
“…This is now the bone of my bones…” – Genesis 2:23.
☆☆☆ It was not just because Eve was made from the bones of Adam but Adam was simply saying, ‘there is a spiritual bond between us that cannot die’.
☆☆☆ You may also wish to recall that when Laban met with Jacob (his sister’s son) he too said 👇
“…surely thou art my bone and my flesh…” – Genesis 29:14.
☆☆☆ Laban was equally saying, ‘there is a blood tie between him and Jacob that cannot die’.
☆☆☆ You will come across a story in Judges 9:2. When Gideon died, the children of Israel went back to their gods. Jerubbaal went to Shechem, unto his mother’s brethren asking them to support him as the next leader in Israel. He now reminded them, “I am your bone and your flesh…”.
☆☆☆ The point I am making is the fact that, if the bones of Joseph were left in Egypt, he would have remained in captivity; even though he was dead and buried.
☆☆☆ This is because bones don’t die beloved.
☆☆☆ I read a research study on “bones don’t burn” and this is what I got 👇
☆☆☆ When a body is cremated, bones do burn at approximately 1292 degrees Fahrenheit, even at that, not completely. Bones don’t die.
☆☆☆ Beloved, when a relationship is seen and taken as the “bone of my bones”, such a relationship cannot die.
☆☆☆ It may pass through very harsh and difficult conditions but will surely survive.
☆☆☆ Storms may come but that relationship will surely wither the storms.
*PRAYERS*
■■■If you are trusting God for a life partner, please pray like this 👇
1. Father, connect me with the bone of my bones in Jesus name.
2. I refuse to be attached or go into any relationship with the wrong bones in Jesus name.
3. â– â– â– A failed relationship is better than a failed marriage: Father, separate me from every wrong relationship I might have entered into in Jesus name.
4. I shall not carry another man’s bones in Jesus name.
5. Father, please don’t allow me to enter into the wrong home in Jesus name.
OTHERS
6. Oh God my father, please rescue my bones from every form of captivity in Jesus name.
7. Father, deliver any of my bones that are still in the captivity of unbelief in Jesus name.
8. I shall not go into any business partnership with the wrong bones in Jesus name.
9. Oh God my father, quicken my bones to enable me fulfill my destiny in Jesus name.
10. Father, please connect me with the bone of my bones that I have lost contact with in Jesus name.
11. My father, my father, please restore peace and harmony between me and all the bone of my bones in Jesus name.
12. My bones shall live and rejoice in Jesus name.
*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS*
I pray for the matured singles, may the Lord connect you today with the bone of your bones in Jesus name.
To everyone reading this prayer message, I decree, the Lord will not allow you to go into any relationship that is not with the bone of your bones in Jesus name.
To the married, I prophesy, your bones shall not die in Jesus name.
To those who are depressed and confused, I pray the Lord shall give you his peace that passes all understanding in Jesus name.
May you not be separated from the bone of your bones in Jesus name.
I decree, the bone of your bones shall not remain in captivity in Jesus mighty name.
To every family experiencing crisis and misunderstanding, I pray God shall restore his peace among all the bone of bones in Jesus mighty name.
I declare peace upon every troubled bone in Jesus name.
