I counsel everyone: married men, married women and the yet to marry to read this.
*TEXT:*
Ephesians 5:25 KJV.
“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it”.
1 Peter 3:7 KJV
Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
*MESSAGE*
āāā Every marriage that follows bible rules will surely survive the storms and trials confronting marriages.
ā ā ā Hear the counsel of a father to his newly married son š
āāā At one time, a newly married young man was shouting at his 20 year old wife and his father called him aside and said to him, “We only shout at people that our shouts or threats can frighten but not to your wife”. “The way you are shouting, you are giving away your power to your wife”. “Your threats will only make her stronger and resistant”.
āāā Most men believe that when a woman is threatened, she gets subdued but women are not changed with fear.
āāā A woman may stay quiet when a man is threatening and shouting at her but she is not sitting down inside her. She is rather evaluating the man’s weakness and how to subdue him.
āāā Cast your mind back to those days when men used to beat their wives flippantly at the slightest provocations, today most of those men are older and they are suffering the consequences.
āāā Those women their husband were beating years back are the ones enjoying the marriage with their children today.
ā ā ā The mothers have their children’s sympathy, the men are at the receiving end.
āāā Let it become clear to men that the way into a woman’s heart is not to try to threaten and subdue her. God spoke to men and said š
“Husbands, love your wives…”.
āāā Oh, you still need an elaborate explanation of this verse of the scripture?
ā”ā”ā” Love makes women weak.
ā¤ā¤ā¤ When you truly love a woman and show it, she will submit to you without any struggle.
ā ā ā However, when a woman has sensed that she is just like your toy, you just want to use her or you are domineering and controlling, the spirit of rebellion takes over her.
ā ā ā She might not physically stand on your way but she is plotting a coup against you. One day, you will sit and watch her and her children force you to follow their rules or you die quicker and faster.
ā ā ā Don’t get me wrong, she won’t collude with her children to poison you but the maltreatment you poured upon her will kill you faster.
āāā Check this fact, almost all the great and fierce kings recorded in the bible or that you know died before their wives.
āāā They lived all through their lives threatening their fellow men and wives.
āāā They were able to kill most of their strong fellow men but all the women they threatened stayed alive.
āāā Women know how to survive against men.
ā ā ā Remember and note that the bible never recorded anywhere Abraham and Sarah quarreled. Sarah was even calling her husband “lord”.
ā ā ā Has it ever occurred to you that Sarah died before Abraham and Abraham still lived close to 50 years after the death of Sarah.
“And Sarah was an hundred and seven and twenty years old: these were the years of the life of Sarah” – Genesis 23:1.
“And these are the days of the years of Abraham’s life which he lived, an hundred threescore and fifteen years” – Genesis 25:7.
āāā Beloved, men are supposed to be stronger than women and even live longer but the way we men live our lives is what kills many faster and ealier than their wives.
ā ā ā The ‘lion’ in men does not scare women or get them to submit to you, it is love that conquers a woman, not force or threats.
ā ā ā Threats might subdue fellow men but not your wife.
ā ā ā Women naturally know how to survive pains.
ā ā ā They can walk to the fearful serpent and make their demands.
ā ā ā They have very resilient spirits.
ā ā ā There are things women fear but not the lion inside men.
ā ā ā They can submit and respect their men so foolishly that you imagine that there is no gut inside of them.
ā ā ā Women have guts which most men don’t have.
ā ā ā Love your woman unconditionally and you will subdue her.
ā ā ā Men don’t get a compatible or cordial relationship with women by showing the lion inside of them.
ā ā ā God knew women before us and begged that we should show them love not threats.
ā ā ā God gave men the formula and recipe for a blissful, joyous and fulfilled homes:
*”MEN LOVE YOUR WIVES”.*
āāā This formula of loving your wife will help you win her.
āāā When a woman is loved, you break all her guts and she stays in your hands.
āāā A woman can do anything to stay with a man who is honestly in love with her.
ā ā ā Talk gently to your wife, love her, pet her, don’t shout at her and you will win her and make your points!
ā ā ā Do not arrogantly display your weakness as a man by shouting.
ā ā ā Please read this and noteš
ā ā ā In quietness lies your power.
āāā The Hawk saw the hen and her chicken roaming about, picked a chicken and the mother hen tried to fly, rolled on the ground, jumped but the hawk flew away with the chicken.
āāā The hawk later saw the dock with her own little babies moving about and picked one but the dock didn’t protest. The hawk dropped the baby dock.
āāā The baby hawk going about with her mother asked why she dropped the little baby of the dock whose mother didn’t protest and ate that of the hen who protested.
āāā Her mother answered and said, the hen already showed her anger and nothing again she could do but am afraid of the quite dock because her quietness is dangerous.
*BEWARE OF ANY MAN OR WOMAN WHO IS VERY QUITE WHEN OFFENDED.*
ā ā ā Husband and wife should discuss the finances of the home together.
ā ā ā Which school to send your children and how to settle the children school fees.
ā ā ā Do and plan things together and peace will reign in your marriage.
*TO THE UNMARRIED*
āāā The time to pray and plan for your future home is now.
āāā Don’t wait until you grow up and men or ladies begin to disturb you.
āāā If you don’t pray now, it may be too late to pray if you eventually marry wrongly.
āāā Always remember marriage is the plan of God and not that of man.
āāā Commit all your marital issues to the author of marriage, God.
*PRAYERS:* These prayers shall be divided into segments š
*LET THE MEN PRAY LIKE THIS* š
ā ā ā “Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered” – 1 Peter 3:7.
1. Oh God my father, grant me the grace to love my wife according to your commandment.
2. I refuse to become the hindrance to my own prayers.
3. My father, my father, please grant me the wisdom and understanding to manage my home.
4. Father, you have made me the head of my home, please Lord, make me the head indeed.
5. Father, you have made me the head and my wife as help meet for me, don’t allow me to reverse that order.
ā ā ā “But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel” – 1 Timothy 5:8.
6. Oh God my father, grant me favour to fulfill the above scripture for my family.
7. I will not sell out my family to the wicked through my actions and behaviour in Jesus name.
8. I shall not become a disgrace to my children, wife and family in Jesus name.
*LET THE WOMEN PRAY LIKE THIS* š
“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies” – Proverbs 31:10.
1. Father, make me a virtuous woman in deed and in truth to my husband in Jesus name.
2. Oh God my father, don’t allow me to scatter my marriage with my own hands.
3. In the name of Jesus, I shall not destroy my marriage with the words of my mouth.
4. Oh God my father, don’t allow me to invite the enemy into my marriage with my own hands in Jesus name.
5. My father, my father, I command spiritual blindness to fall upon anyone beholding my marriage for evil.
6. I barricade the door of my marriage against every strange woman targeting my marriage in Jesus name.
7. Father, please grant me the wisdom, knowledge and understanding to relate perfectly with my in laws.
8. Father, deliver my marriage from the hands of hijackers of Godly and peaceful marriage in Jesus name.
*LET THOSE YET TO MARRY PRAY THIS WAY* š
“Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass” – Psalm 37:5.
1. Father, don’t allow me to marry wrongly in Jesus name.
2. My father, my father, let your plan and purpose for me in marriage be fulfilled in Jesus name.
3. Father, don’t allow me to marry my will but your own will for my life in Jesus name.
4. Father, you instituted marriage, please connect me with your choice for my life in Jesus name.
5. I will not board “a one chance” vehicle as I journey into marriage in Jesus name.
6. Oh God my father, rescue me from the hands of those who may want to use and dump me in Jesus name.
7. Your perfect will in marriage I am waiting for Oh God.
8. Father, let my marriage become an epistle of a Godly marriage for others to follow in Jesus name.
*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS*š
1. Father, let your plan and purpose for every Godly marriage be fulfilled in Jesus name.
2. Every marriage experiencing crisis right now, I speak PEACE into your situation in Jesus name.
3. Father, please repair and restore every marriage heading towards break up in Jesus name.
4. I pray this message will resolve the crisis and challenges confronting certain marriages in Jesus name.
5. Father, you are the author of marriage, please let the marriage of every man or woman, married or single; reading this message, work according to your plan and purpose in Jesus name.
6. To a particular woman out there, reading this prayer message; I decree, the Lord shall redeem your husband and flush out every strange woman intruding into your marriage in Jesus name.
7. For those yet to marry, I decree, declare and prophesy, God will connect you with his choice for you in Jesus name.
8. None of you shall marry contrary to God’s plan and purpose for your life in Jesus name.
9. To a particular “would be couple” preparing for your wedding, I prophesy, the Lord shall surprise you pleasantly in Jesus name.
10. I command every strange hand strechthed towards the marriages of these ones to wither now in Jesus mighty name.
