Joshua 23:14 KJV.
“And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof”.

*MESSAGE:*
☆☆☆ This was part of the farewell speech of Joshua to the children of Israel.
☆☆☆ Joshua was about to die and he decided to encourage the children of Israel.
☆☆☆ He reminded them of the faithfulness of God all these years.
☆☆☆ Beloved, we sing it in songs, we confess it and declare with our mouth that “God is ever faithful”.
☆☆☆ However, it is so disheartening that some people still don’t believe in their hearts that God is faithful.
☆☆☆ If they do, why then lamenting and weeping in the face of crisis and calamities of life.
☆☆☆ Has the faithfulness of God changed?
☆☆☆ Beloved, God has not changed, neither has his faithfulness changed.

■■■ The bible says 👇

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever” – Hebrews 13:8.

☆☆☆ What God did in the days of our forefathers, he can still do today.
☆☆☆ Challenges of life will surely come but they cannot stop the faithfulness of God.

■■■ I read a story of an event that happened in the country of Armenia, in 1988. A couple was sending their little boy to school early one morning. The father squatted before his son and looked him straight in the eyes and said “have a good day at school son, and remember, no matter what, I’ll always be there for you”. They hugged each other and the boy ran off to school.
Hours later, a powerful earthquake rocked the area. In the midst of the pandemonium, this couple tried to discover what happened to their son but they couldn’t get any information.
The radio later announced that there were thousands of casualties. This father headed for his son’s schoolyard. What he saw brought tears to his eyes. His son’s school was a pile of debris. Other parents were standing around crying.
This father located the spot where his son’s classroom used to be and began pulling a broken beam off the pile of rubble. One of the parents looking on asked “what are you doing?”, “Digging for my son” the father answered.
All through the night and into the next day, he continued digging. He picked up a beam and pushed it out of the way when he heard a faint cry, “Help! Help!” Then he heard a muffled voice “papa”?
This father began to dig furiously. Finally he could see his son. “Come on out, son!” He said with relief.
“No” his son said. “Let the other kids come out first because I know you will get me”. Child after child emerged until finally his son also emerged.
The father took his son in his arms and the boy said, “I told the other kids not to worry because you told me that you would always be there for me”.
Fourteen children were saved that day because ONE father was faithful.

How much more faithful is our Heavenly Father! Whether trapped by fallen debris or ensnared by life’s hardships and struggles, we are never cut off from God’s faithfulness.

☆☆☆ Our God is true to his character. He is reliable and trustworthy and can always be counted on.
☆☆☆ The bible says 👇

“God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord” – 1 Corinthians 1:9.

☆☆☆ Irrespective of the challenges of life, God will never forsake his own.
☆☆☆ The bible says, concerning our God 👇

“For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off” – Psalm 37:28.

☆☆☆ Trust in God, believe in his promises because he will never fail.
☆☆☆ The bible encourages us thus 👇

“Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations” – Deuteronomy 7:9.

☆☆☆ The mercy and the faithfulness of God have preserved us.
☆☆☆ The wicked would have swallowed us up if not for the mercy of God.

“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not”.
[23] “They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness” – Lamentations 3:22-23.

☆☆☆ Again the bible says 👇

“Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds” – Psalm 36:5.

■■■ A song writer said 👇

All I have needed,
Thy hand has provided,
Great is thy faithfulness,
God unto me.
