THE DEVIL NEEDS NO INVITATION : Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
Luke 24:15 KJV.
“And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them”.
*MESSAGE:*
☆☆☆ After Jesus Christ resurrected, he appeared to two of his disciples.
☆☆☆ The disciples were on a journey and discussing the death of Jesus, Jesus himself joined them.
☆☆☆ The two disciples were so sad about his death and were busy discussing the event.
☆☆☆ They never had the mind of seeing Jesus again when he appeared to them.
☆☆☆ They didn’t recognize him either and was even challenging him why he was so oblivious of the happenings around.
☆☆☆ After Jesus broke the bread and gave them to eat, their eyes were opened and they recognized him. Read Luke 24:30-31.
■ ■ ■ The main point for today:
☆☆☆ Beloved, every good work the Lord does, the devil tries to replicate it but in an evil way.
☆☆☆ Jesus appeared to the two disciples, uninvited, to confirm to them that he had resurrected as predicted.
☆☆☆ The devil too can equally appear today, uninvited, to many people.
☆☆☆ You can be sure that his presence will be for evil purposes.
☆☆☆ Jesus joined in the discussion of those two disciples.
☆☆☆ Today, the devil can also join in some hitherto great discussions and turn such to unnecessary arguments that can lead to chaos.
☆☆☆ Some families have been scattered today because the devil appeared in their midst.
☆☆☆ Some great and wonderful marriages have been torn apart today all because the devil joined in their discussions.
☆☆☆ Many businesses have gone out of existence today because the devil stepped in.
☆☆☆ Some hitherto wonderful relationships have broken up today all because the devil entered into their midst uninvited.
☆☆☆ Many good friends have suddenly become the enemies of one another because the devil penetrated into their midst uninvited.
☆☆☆ Some finances went bankrupt because the finger of the devil appeared unnoticed.
■ ■ ■ Read this story and learn some lessons 👇
■ A couple was eating a beautiful meal prepared by the wife. The husband praised his wife for being a great cook. The wife also thanked her husband for providing enough money for home upkeep. Suddenly the husband raised alarm that the wife has eaten too many meat and the meat will soon finish. The wife jokingly said, “honey, if meat finishes, I will bring more from the pot”. The husband was angry and challenged the wife if her parents had sent her to come waste all his money on cooking alone. The wife responded, challenging her husband while he must refer to her parents in such a manner. The husband slapped his wife, warning her never to talk when he “the head of the house” is talking.
■ Beloved, that was the end of that marriage.
☆☆☆ The devil was not invited but he stepped in to scatter a once peaceful and joyful family.
*PRAYERS*
1. Father, expose every hiding place of the devil in my life.
2. Oh God my father, please disgrace the devil out of his secret place in my marriage.
3. I refuse to consciously or unconsciously invite the devil into my life.
4. Devil, keep moving; for there is no bus stop for you in my life.
5. Devil and all your agents, I shut you out of all the affairs of my life in Jesus name.
6. Holy Spirit, please be in charge of all my family discussions in Jesus name.
7. In the name of Jesus, I shut you devil out of every meeting I am involved in.
8. Father, don’t allow me to submit myself for the use of satan in any unnecessary arguments in Jesus name.
9. Oh God my father, don’t allow the devil to join me as I journey through life in Jesus name.
10. In my business, I reject the devil as a partner.
*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS*
☆☆ ☆ I stand upon the authority in the word of God to decree and declare, every uninvited guest trying to appear in your house for evil intentions, shall the heavens lock out of your home from today in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ I decree, declare and prophesy, the devil will never join in your discussion in Jesus mighty name.
☆☆☆ I decree, the devil will not step into your business and the Lord will laminate your finances in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ In your journey through life, I decree, the devil will not walk with you.
☆☆☆ In your conversations, I decree and declare, the devil and his agents will not gain access.
☆☆☆ When you are about taking some great decisions concerning the issues of your life, may you not listen to the devil’s suggestions.
☆☆☆ The door of your life is shut against every intruder.
☆☆☆ Your financial gate is sealed and secured by the blood of Jesus.
☆☆☆ The angel of the Lord shall keep watch over your marriage in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ Your family is protected and secured by the Everlasting Arm of Jehovah God in Jesus mighty name.
