SUCCESS, A BETTER ANNOUNCER – Pastor Isaac Olutimehin
TEXT:
1 Samuel 17:58 KJV.
“And Saul said to him, Whose son art thou, thou young man? And David answered, I am the son of thy servant Jesse the Beth-lehemite”.
*MESSAGE*
☆☆☆ After the victory of David over Goliath, he was brought before king Saul.
☆☆☆ Looking at the question that Saul asked David, “whose son art thou, thou young man?” One might be tempted to believe that Saul had never met David before then.
☆☆☆ Another way of looking at Saul’s question was to think that he didn’t know who was David’s father.
☆☆☆ But when you read 1 Samuel 17: 32-38, you will discover that David had met with Saul before his battle against Goliath.
☆☆☆ It was even Saul himself who prepared David ready for the battle.
☆☆☆ Again when you also read 1 Samuel 16:15-22, you will equally discover that when Saul was sick and his servants were looking for somebody to play the harp, David was brought before Saul.
☆☆☆ And when David was introduced to Saul, Saul even sent messages back to Jesse, the father of David; pleading that David should be allowed to stay with him in the palace 👇
“And Saul sent to Jesse, saying, Let David, I pray thee, stand before me; for he hath found favour in my sight” – 1 Samuel 16:22.
☆☆☆ Why then did Saul ask “whose son art thou, thou young man?”
☆☆☆ Beloved, success has a way of advertising itself. When a man becomes successful in life, he doesn’t need to announce himself but his success story will surely do.
☆☆☆ David was not relevant, even among his family members before his victory over Goliath.
☆☆☆ You will recall that when a king was to be appointed over Israel, Jesse the father of David didn’t recommend him.
☆☆☆ Even his brethren saw themselves as better materials for the throne.
☆☆☆ However, when success now came, everybody wanted to know David and be associated with him.
☆☆☆ Beloved, when you are still struggling in life, nobody will want to be associated with you.
☆☆☆ However, when success arrives, your number of extended relations and friends will surely increase.
☆☆☆ Beloved, success has a way of advertising itself. Don’t make noise about your efforts, work diligently and allow your success to announce you.
*PRAYERS*
1. Oh God my father, bless and anoint the works of my hands for an outstanding success.
2. Father, take me out of the wilderness of life and launch me into limelight.
3. My father, my father, raise a voice to speak on my behalf where men are trying to stop me from fulfilling my purpose in life.
4. I shall not die without making positive impacts in life.
5. Oh God my father, give me an assignment to do that will announce my glory.
6. Father, let those who are trying to block my way become the ladder I need to cross over to my next level of greatness.
7. Oh God of heaven, don’t allow me to stray away from the path of destiny fulfillment.
8. My success will no longer be silent.
9. I will become who the Lord has destined me to become.
10. My success, oh my success stories, announce my glory all over the world.
*PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS*
I pray for somebody today and I decree, your success shall advertise you in Jesus name.
I decree and declare, God will give you victory over the challenges of life in Jesus name.
Your victory shall become the announcer of your glory in Jesus name.
To somebody out there, I decree, this year shall be the beginning of your landmark miracles, signs and wonders in Jesus name.
Once again I decree, a miracle that will take you out of the slums to the throne shall the God of heaven perform in your life in Jesus name.
I prophesy, a testimony that will take you out of oblivion into limelight is coming your way this season in Jesus mighty name.
I decree and declare, every problem and challenge standing as a Goliath in your life shall fall today in Jesus name.
I decree, the fall of your Goliath shall become your stepping stone to success in Jesus name.
I pray for somebody today, you will not pass through this generation without your records of success stories in Jesus name.
You will make positive impacts upon your generation in Jesus mighty name.
Success shall be your companion.
