“Stop Asking Women for Money” — Pastor Warns Nigerian Men
Pastor Jerry Eze, the lead pastor of Streams of Joy International, has issued a stern warning to men who exploit women emotionally and financially under the guise of romantic relationships.
Speaking during a session of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD), the 42-year-old pastor condemned the behavior of men who deceive women by pretending to love them while covertly seeking financial gain.
He urged such individuals to seek honest means of livelihood instead of preying on the vulnerabilities of desperate women.
“Stop asking women for money and deceiving them with fake relationships,” Pastor Eze emphasized during the service. He pointed out the growing prevalence of this manipulative practice and called for an end to it, describing it as both unethical and unchristian.
In addition, the pastor addressed women directly, advising them to avoid desperation in relationships to protect themselves from becoming targets of financial and emotional exploitation. “Stay calm and trust God,” he urged. “Don’t let desperation drive you into the hands of men who are only interested in your money.”
