SSG Loses Daughter, 3 Grandchildren In Fire Accident
Tragedy has struck in Sokoto State, where a devastating fire incident has claimed the lives of the daughter and three grandchildren of Alhaji Muhammadu Bello Sifawa, the Secretary to the Sokoto State Government.
The tragic incident occurred at the residence of the Secretary to the Sokoto State Government’s daughter, who is married to Alhaji Muhammadu Yusuf Bello, the Permanent Secretary of the state Ministry of Sports and Youths Development, Vanguard reports.
The fire broke out at the residence in the late hours of the night, rapidly spreading throughout the house while the family was asleep.
Tragically, only the husband, Alhaji Muhammadu Yusuf Bello, survived the inferno.
The remains of his wife and their three children will be laid to rest at the Sheikh Shehu Usmanu Danfodiyo Mosque in Sifawa, with the burial ceremony scheduled to take place at midnight at the family home of the Secretary to the Sokoto State Government, who is the deceased housewife’s father.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
As news of the tragedy spreads, an outpouring of condolences has begun, with the state Deputy Governor, Eng Idris Mohammed Gobir and well-wishers visiting Sifawa to pay their respects and offer support during this difficult time.
