Six Months in Office, Ondo Senator, Ipinsagba commission projects across boards

As part of activities commemorating his six months in office, the Senator representing Ondo North Senatorial District of Ondo State at the National Assembly, Senator Olajide Ipinsagba has inaugurated some infrastructure projects in the zone.

The projects are aimed to improve the livelihoods of the people in some towns in Akoko North-East, Akoko North-West, Akoko South-East, Akoko South-West, Ose and Owo local government areas of the State.

These include inauguration of the Federal Medical Centre annex in Akunnu-Akoko and the 1.5km township road in Oka-Akoko, which residents described as people-oriented and much-needed development.

Senator Ipinsagba, who facilitated the projects, said they are in fulfilment of his promise to cater for the needs of the people, through provision of accessible and qualitative health care and road facility.

The Senator explained that he is committed to bringing more development to the area, since political office is an exclusive call to service.

Speaking at the event, the Oluwade of Akunu-Akoko, Oba Olufemi Bankole Saba (Ajiio III), commended Senator Ipinsagba for the FMC Annex.

Oba Saba described the projects as landmark developmental stride in just six months in office and called for execution of more projects across the senatorial district.

Also speaking, the Olubaka of Oka-Akoko, Oba (Dr) Adebori Adeleye, who commended the road project in Oka town, expressed hope that it will facilitate more developmental projects in the area.

Some residents of Akunu-Akoko and Oka-Akoko expressed joy and gratitude over the development.

The people of Oka-Akoko particularly thanked the Senator for the construction of the 1.5km Oka road, which they described as a welcome development.

The FMC Annex in Akunu-Akoko boasts of a fully furnished reception area, well-equipped administrative offices, 8-bed emergency room, 10-bed male ward, 10-bed female ward, first aid kits, wheel chairs, delivery beds and kits, nursing trolleys, borehole facility, 20KVA generating set among others.

Traditional rulers, religious leaders, youths and the aged across the six local government areas in the senatorial destrict witnessed the events.
