Here is what you need to know about Benneth Nwankwo’s short film on Police Brutality in Nigeria, “This Is My Story” and Michael Chineme Ike’s short film on Sickle Cell in Nigeria, The Little Things That Matter.
◼️This Is My Story, and The Little Things That Matter, previously premiered on the 27th of December 2020 and 28th of November 2020, respectively are coming back for a limited theatrical release.
◼️They will be premiered on the 31st of January 2021 at Annabel Cinemas Awka Anambra state Nigeria.
◼️This Is My Story, directed by Benneth Nwankwo and a production of BN MEDIA tells the story of a young couple – victims of police extortion and brutality. The story ends with calls for renewed patriotism in Nigeria, better police reforms and officers’ welfare, respect for constituted authorities and justice for victims of police brutality.
◼️The Little Things That Matter, directed by Michael Chineme Ike and a MIC Production, tells the story of two lovers on a romantic picnic date whose love was threatened by a very important detail they overlooked in their relationship.
