Shettima, Jonathan grace wedding of Taraba governor’s daughter Keziah
Keziah, the daughter of Agbu Kefas, governor of Taraba, tied the knot with Bitrus Josiah in Jalingo, the state capital, on Saturday.
The wedding ceremony hosted notable personalities including Vice President Kashim Shettima and former President Goodluck Jonathan.
Some dignitaries who attended the event include Dauda Lawal, Zamfara governor; Ahmadu Fintiri, Adamawa governor; Sheriff Oborevwori, Delta governor; Ademola Adeleke, Osun governor; Douye Diri, Bayelsa governor; and Bauchi governor Bala Mohammed.
Other governors who graced the wedding are Caleb Muftwang, Plateau governor; Godwin Obaseki, Edo governor; Sim Fubara, Rivers governor; Umaru Zulum, Borno governor; Peter Mbah, Enugu governor; and Usman Ododo, Kogi governor.
Speaking at the ceremony, Shettima described parenthood as “bittersweet”, adding that “it is a painful process to see our children go” when they mature enough for marriage.
He advised the couple to imbibe the essential qualities in marriage like “communication, patience, tolerance, perseverance, and love”.
On his part, Kefas appreciated the dignitaries and “everyone who honoured our invitation”.
“It is with great joy as a father, that I witnessed the marriage ceremony between my daughter, Keziah and her Groom, Bitrus. We are happy as a family to host friends, political associates and distinguished personalities from within and outside Taraba State,” he wrote on X.

The ceremony was held a day after Laila Atiku, daughter of a former vice president, tied the knot with Saleh Maitala at a ceremony held at the national mosque in Abuja on Friday.
