Acts 28:3 KJV.
“And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand”.
☆☆☆ Paul had gathered some sticks together and laid them on fire to keep his body warm because of the cold.
☆☆☆ Suddenly a viper emerged from the fire and attacked Paul.
☆☆☆ The fire of God that was equally burning in the life of Paul rendered the viper harmless.
☆☆☆ Paul shook off the beast into the burning fire.
☆☆☆ The question is, where was the beast before those sticks got into the fire?
☆☆☆ You already know the answer.
☆☆☆ The viper was hiding within the sticks.
☆☆☆ The heat of the fire exposed and chased it out of its hiding place.
☆☆☆ Beloved, when the enemies discover that your prayer life carries fire, they will become uncomfortable.
☆☆☆ This is what most Christians do not understand.
☆☆☆ Some will begin to complain, “but I am praying, why is it that the problem is becoming much unbearable”!!!
☆☆☆ Yes you are praying and the heat of your prayers is already making your enemies very much uncomfortable.
☆☆☆ You won’t expect the devil not to fight back when you are bombarding his kingdom with those prayer misiles.
☆☆☆ All you need do at that moment is to increase the tempo of your prayers and “shake off the beast into the fire”.
☆☆☆ Beloved, don’t ever make the mistake of believing that you don’t have enemies.
☆☆☆ If you have not noticed them, it is because there is no fire in your prayer life yet.
☆☆☆ Increase the tempo of your prayers and you will see the “beast” reacting and protesting vehemently.
☆☆☆ Is your marriage passing through some storms and you have been praying but no solution in sight?
☆☆☆ Pray harder to “shake off that beast” hybernating in your marriage.
☆☆☆ Is your boss in the office becoming a terror to you?
☆☆☆ Rekindle the fire of your prayer life and “shake off that beast into the fire”.
☆☆☆ Are you a child of God who is praying so hard and it’s like instead of things getting much better but becoming unbearable?
☆☆☆ Congratulations! Your prayers are already making your enemies uncomfortable.
☆☆☆ Pray much harder beloved and “shake off the beast into the fire”.
☆☆☆ Note this beloved that anything that can hinder the blessings of God from becoming manifest in your life, is equally a beast. It is an enemy.
☆☆☆ The bible says:
"Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these ; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness". [20] "Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies". [21] "Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God" - Galatians 5:19-21.
☆☆☆ Do you know that telling lies is a beast and it can suddenly manifest to block your blessings!!!
☆☆☆ Do you know that anger is a viper that can destroy all you have laboured for in one day!!!
☆☆☆ What about unforgiving spirit and keeping malice?
☆☆☆ I decided to lay some emphasis on those “beasts” have mentioned above because we tend to see them as little vices and we ignore them.
☆☆☆ There is no little vice beloved as there is no small sin.
☆☆☆ The same weight that telling lies carries before God is what adultery/fornication equally carries.
☆☆☆ Most often we look outside self for the enemies of our progress when in actual fact, these enemies are within us.
☆☆☆ Hear Paul speak:
"And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure" - 2 Corinthians 12:7.
☆☆☆ Paul didn’t tell us what this “thorn in the flesh” was but every man has his own thorn in the flesh.
☆☆☆ Prayerfully discover yours today and deal with it before it destroys you.
PLEASE PRAY THESE PRAYERS:
☆☆☆ Oh God my father, help me to discover that beast residing in me and deal with it today.
☆☆☆ Please Lord, rekindle the fire of prayer in me so that my life shall become uncomfortable for any beast to stay.
☆☆☆ Let your fire burn inside of me ceaselessly Oh Lord.
☆☆☆ Destroyers of glorious destinies, my life is not your habitation, I kick you out in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ I receive fresh anointing and fresh auction of the Holy Ghost to shake off the beast of delay in my life.
☆☆☆ There is no hiding place for any beast in my life.
☆☆☆ Somebody needs to pray this one prayer seriously: Oh you beast of anger, I shake you off now in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ Begin to deal with that known beast in your own life right now.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
☆☆☆ I pray for you today, the holy spirit will intercede on your behalf with groanings which cannot be uttered.
☆☆☆ I decree, the fire of God upon your life will expose the hiding place of your secret enemies in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ May you not give up at the point of your winning the battle of life in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ I decree and declare, every enemy of your progress will no longer be comfortable any more in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ I prophesy, the fire of God will locate and chase out every beast residing in your life in Jesus mighty name.
☆☆☆ I send the fire of the Holy Ghost into your root to uproot and consume whatever is contrary to the plan of God for your life.
☆☆☆ I “Shake off the beast into the fire” where it belongs and the peace of God shall reign in your life henceforth in Jesus mighty name.
