Insecurity headache in any point in time can be so destructive specially when no one is considered safe compared to others, as no business in any society can thrive where Insecurity exists. For instance, the recent deadly attack at Nimbo Community in Uzo-Uwani, Enugu State, that has scores killed while some terribly injured as a result of neglected insecurities rampaging the area, such was the plan of marauding Fulani herdsmen invaders when they started encroachment of Ivo land but was halt vehemently by men of security network, thanks to proactive council chairman, Hon. Chief Ajah Emmanuel Ogbonna (Confirm) for wading-in.

- Taking the Lead to chase away hoodlums, Fulani herdsmen invaders in several occasions.
- Making a bold public proclamation of the “Ban of Cow Meat” in total liaison with the traditional rulers in the communities in order to ascertain some security measures.
- Successfully Mounted 24/7 three (3) Army checkpoints in Akaeze and Ishiagu Community

iii. Base at Mile 2 - Completed rehabilitation and built police quarters
- Camp more than 25 numbers of Police men at special quarter
- Installation of 3 more police checking points
i. Ngwogwo-Mpu express road

iii. Okue – Akaeze Road (Catherine Nne-Ike Road) - Built Security Tower inside the bush(in the terrorising areas after Ojukwu Bustop)
- Built Standard security edifice (Army Quarter)
- Distributed over seventy (70) numbers of Motorcycles to members of Neighborhood Watch and Vigilante Corp, Ivo Local Government Chapter.
- Distributed five (5) brand new sienna and a hilux van to members of Neighborhood Watch in proper operation with conventional security agencies in ivo LGA.
- Installed over 1500 Security Solar Light across the communities
i. Ishiagu and Mile 2 area
ii. Akaeze area - Recruits over 150 men of “Neighborhood Watch” and Regular security sensitization/lecturing members
- Installed CCTV in strategic locations in the council.
- Regular Hosting of Army C.O (Commanding officer for crucial security conference in the council)
- Intercepted and arrested dreadful kidnappers within 6 days of their bloody operation
i. Arrested kidnappers kingpin/Commando (Mr. Gunner, Alhaji) and rescued abducted victims. - Set sub-security unit within the 11wards of the council.
- Mandate a patrol security teams to frequently ply all the routes in the council.
- Enhances synergy among the security apparatus in the council.
- Envelope “Peace” as a paradigm shift to avert social Unrest in the council
