SECURING YOUR EDEN AGAINST SATANIC INCURSION.
Genesis 3:24 KJV.
“So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life”.
Let us quickly look at 3 things that made Eden very unique.
☆☆☆ God provided man with shelter at Eden. God gave man a place to live.
“And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed” – Genesis 2:8.
☆☆☆ God was the first employer of man. God gave man job to do at Eden.

“And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it” – Genesis 2:15.
☆☆☆ God now rewarded man with free food to eat at Eden.
“And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat” – Genesis 2 :16.
These are the 3 basic needs of man: shelter, job and food, already provided at creation for man that the devil denied man of.
Man sinned against God and was chased out of Eden, the place of peace and comfort prepared for him by God.
God now placed an angel at the entrance of the garden of Eden to prevent the return of man.
Beloved, whatever has an original must surely have a counterfeit.
Today, the devil has also stationed his angels at the entrance of the gate to his victim’s blessings.
Some people may want to argue and say, man of God, the devil cannot try that with me.
Really?
Remember the bible says that the devil rebelled against God in heaven and he fell.
He was cast out of heaven and one third of the angels of God in heaven fell with him.
These fallen angels are now the angels of the devil today.
They are commonly called “demons”.
These demons operate as spirits.
"And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels".
[8] “And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven”.
[9] “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” – Revelation 12:7-9.
Therefore, these “spirits” which are now the angels of the devil are so numerous in number but we shall be looking at about 3 of them today.
- ANGER. Beloved, do you know that anger is a spirit and it is an angel of the devil! No wonder the bible says: “Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath”:
[27] “Neither give place to the devil” – Ephesians 4:26&27. When you don’t have control over your anger, you are simply allowing the devil to place his angel at the gate of your blessings to hinder you. I was praying for a brother years back and God said I should warn him to control his anger because a miracle was coming his way.
Three days later, he came back crying that he lost a contract.
His junior brother in America wanted to connect him with a business woman who was looking for a business partner in Nigeria.
The woman came to Nigeria and had followed the address given to her to look for this brother.
On this faithful day when she got to the house, she met two young men quarrelling seriously and she was trying to calm both of them down.
This brother didn’t like her intervention and insulted the woman so much.
The woman didn’t know him since both of them hadn’t met before then.
Finally the woman got to know later that the brother, who insulted her, was the one she was actually looking for. That was how anger terminated the contract. - FORNICATION AND ADULTERY. These are two powerful spirits being used by the devil to truncate destinies. This is why the bible warns: “Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body” – 1 Corinthians 6:18. Samson didn’t hid this warning and his destiny was truncated by this angel of the devil. Let us quickly look at the destiny of Samson, what God created him to be before the devil got him. “For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines” – Judges 13:5. Now see how fornication truncated the destiny of Samson: “That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother’s womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man”.
[18] “And when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up this once, for he hath shewed me all his heart. Then the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and brought money in their hand”.
[19] “And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him”.
[20] “And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the Lord was departed from him” – Judges 16:17-20. Beloved please note this, Jacob used stones as his pillow and saw visions.
But Samson used the tigh of Delilah as his own pillow and lost his visions.
Check your pillow. Let us now see what was left of Samson after the devil dealt with him. “But the Philistines took him, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house” – Judges 16:21. - UNFORGIVING SPIRIT. This is the last “spirit” that time will permit us to consider today. Unforgiving spirit is a tool in the hand of the devil which has so much succeeded in its assignment. The devil has successfully used this demon to chase many people out of their Eden. The reason being the fact that the one who suffers in the hands of this “spirit” will think he has every reason not to forgive the fellow who hurts him. But he has forgotten that the devil, who the bible calls the accuser of brethren, will want to use this “unforgiving spirit” to step down his blessings. Let us consider the following two examples to support this. A woman trained her husband’s junior brother throughout his university education.
The boy, now a graduate and working, didn’t see any other girl to fornicate with but his own niece (the only daughter of this woman).
He eventually got the girl pregnant
In the process of trying to cover up his act, he took the girl to a quack doctor for an abortion.
Unfortunately the girl died. How do you now counsel such a woman to forgive this brother!
This woman had every reason to be angry but the bible says: “Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord” – Leviticus 19:18. Let us look at the second example. This is a story that made headlines recently in the newspapers. A particular family adopted a brother and took so much care of him as their own son.
The day the parents were not in, the boy raped the only girl of the family and killed her in the process.
This girl was just 12 years old. Except the Holy Spirit intervenes, asking this family to forgive the boy will be a very hard job to do. Beloved, having read these two stories, just remember that irrespective of your hurt; you must forgive and forget. Unforgiving spirit kills, destroys destinies and closes the floodgates of heavenly blessings. Unfortunately, the devil has succeeded in using these 3 powerful spirits mentioned above to truncate destinies and to send many out of their Eden. These fallen angels now called demons or spirits are so numerous that time will not permit me to address them all today. However, note that lying, hatred, malice, etc are other spirits being used by satan against many of his unsuspecting victims. Prayerfully discover where any of these spirits is operating in your life.
Chase them out before they chase you out of your Eden.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
☆☆☆ I pray for somebody today and I decree, you will not cooperate with the devil to succeed in chasing you out of your Eden in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ I decree and declare, wrath will not have a place in your life.
☆☆☆ The spirit of anger will not dominate and rule your life.
☆☆☆ Receive grace to forgive others long before they even offend you.
☆☆☆ Joseph flee when the wife of Portiphar came tempting him with fornication and adultery. I pray for somebody today, the God of heaven will deliver your marriage from every Portiphar’s wife sent after you in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ I decree, declare and prophesy, every spirit waiting at the gate of your breakthrough, will be bulldozed out of your way by the heavenly bulldozers in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ I decree, the devil shall not gain access to your source of joy and happiness in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ To as many whose vehicle of progress has been grounded by the devil, I decree, the Lord in his infinite mercy will overhaul the vehicle of your life.
☆☆☆ Your life will run smoothly once again in Jesus name.
☆☆☆ You will not be chased out of the place of your rest in Jesus mighty name.
☆☆☆ You will finish well and finish strong.
☆☆☆ Be blessed.
