S’East stakeholders set agenda for new Ohanaeze leader
Felicitations have continued to pour in from personalities and groups for the newly elected President-General of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Sen. John Azuta-Mbata.
In various statements, they expressed confidence that Azuta-Mbata will unite and effectively position the Igbo race in the nation’s political landscape.
This is as they tasked the new PG with the protection of cultural heritage and restoration of security and tranquillity in Igbo land.
Among those who made this call were the former Abia State Governor, Dr Orji Kalu; Enyinnaya Abaribe, leader of the South-East Senate caucus; and the Ndigbo Youth Parliament.
In his own statement, Sen. Kalu expressed confidence that the new PG would use his wealth of experience, credentials, and expertise to champion the cause of the Ndi Igbo and strategically position the Igbo people in the nation’s political landscape.
“Over the years, you have established yourself as a distinguished businessman, politician, and statesman, serving Rivers State and Nigeria with excellence and dedication.
