School Building Collapse: Plateau State Commissioner Pleads For Blood Donation For Victims

The Plateau State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Mr Musa Ashom, has pleaded with Nigerians, especially residents of the state to visit Plateau Specialists Hospital to donate blood to save the lives of school pupils rescued from the school building that collapsed in Jos, the state capital on Friday.

Ashom, who made the appeal in a statement issued in Jos, urged every able-bodied person within and around the state to donate blood for the rescued victims.

 

He said, “As a result of the immense casualties from the collapse of a school building in the Busa Buji area of Jos North Local Government Area, the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Communication Plateau State, Ibrahim Musa Ashoms, is appealing to the sense of humanity of members of the public to donate blood at major and government hospitals in the city.”

SaharaReporters on Friday reported how a devastating building collapse occurred at Saint Academy in Busa Buji, Jos North Local Government Area of the State, trapping over 200 students beneath the rubble.
