Scarcity Of Husband: Delta Highlife Musician Sets To Marry Three Women On Same Day
A 55-year-old highlife musician from Delta State, Dr. Arube Otor, widely known as Isoko Fela One, is set to tie the knot with three women in a single ceremony.
The event is scheduled to take place on January 19, 2025, at the Anglican Church Field in Uzere Kingdom, Isoko South Local Government Area.
According to Arube’s foster son, Emperor Efih (Oscar), the musician had previously planned to marry four women but one of them pulled out due to personal reasons.
Efih attributed Arube’s decision to marry multiple women to cost-cutting measures, as was married to two women about 20 years ago.
The three brides-to-be, Oghenekome, Ewoma, and Oghenekaro, are all from Delta State and have been in a relationship with Arube for some time.
Two of them have already given birth to a child each, while the third is expecting.
Arube, a renowned musician with over 30 years of experience, has released more than 10 albums and is known for his Isoko highlife music.
