Reps Seat: Isu clan endorses Omeogo, vows to vote him in
Ahead of next month elections, the good people of Isu clan in Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State, have endorsed the APC candidate for Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency, Hon. High Chief Canice Moore Chukwugozie Nwachukwu, Omeogo Ogbaturuenyi Na Orlu.
The Isu clan which comprised of Umuowa, Umuna, Eziachi, Mgbe, Owerri Ebri, Umuzike, Umudioka, Eluama, Amaike and Umueze had also resolved to vote for Omeogo to enable him emerge victoriously.
The endorsement which took place at the Central School Field, Umuowa, had in attendance great sons and daughters of the seven communities who came together to throw their total support for Omeogo’s political ambition who they described as best candidate for the Reps Seat.
Speaking on behalf of the seven communities, Sir Gregory Ihenacho, Founder and CEO of Nigeria Chambers of Commerce, USA, said he is not a politician, but a man who thinks of the well-being and good of his people, testifying how they called all the candidates contesting with Omeogo to come and talk to the people they intend to represent, but they could not answer the call except Omeogo and Barrister Ikenna Ihezuo, Orlu APC candidate for State Assembly.
He stated that nothing gives him joy than to see a leader like Omeogo who he mentioned is ready to answer the call before his election which he added was a sign that Omeogo is going there for the betterment of his people hence their endorsement and adoption as their sole candidate.
The occasion started with a courtesy call and a Royal Blessing from the Palace of His Royal Majesty, Eze MC Duruigbo, the Igbonenye IV of Umuowa Ancient Kingdom.
Thus, at Igbonenye’s Palace, the Royal Father had advised the visitors not to work against anybody for God to bless and give them victory at the poll, charging them to embrace peace which he said breeds prosperity, comfort and progress in any society that values it and applies it.
The high point of the meeting was the moving of motion to adopt Omeogo as their Federal Representative candidate and Barrister Ikenna Ihezuo as their State Assembly candidate for the 2023 elections.
The motion for the endorsement was seconded by the seven communities of Isu clan in unison.
With Omeogo happily assuring them of rendering fair, effective representation to the constituency if he emerges victoriously at the next month election, explaining that his going to the Green Chamber of the National Assembly is for the betterment of the constituents.
