Real change impossible without God’s help – Olukoya’s wife
The wife of the General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Pastor (Mrs.) Folashade Olukoya has called on Christians to become agents of change by seeking the power of God.
Olukoya said this during a special Super Sunday programme titled “City Changer,” held at MFM Abijo, Lagos Region 54, Ibeju Lekki, Lagos State.
She emphasised that for individuals to overcome the challenges confronting them, as well as the nation and the world at large, they must turn to God, seek His presence, and fully surrender to Him, particularly seeking His divine power.
Olukoya explained that the only way to succeed in today’s troubled world and to overcome the forces that are disrupting society was by seeking genuine power from God.
To experience meaningful and effective change, and to become an agent of that change, she urged everyone to cultivate a deep relationship with God, marked by a firm commitment to obey and fulfil His will.
She stated, “To experience genuine change and to be a change agent, there is a need for the power of God. This power is the strength of God within you, enabling you to trample on serpents and scorpions. We all need God’s undiluted power to thrive in the present world. However, receiving this power comes with a price; first and foremost, you must genuinely give your life to Christ.”
Earlier in the event, the Mega Regional Overseer of MFM Abijo Mega Regional Headquarters, Pastor (Mrs.) Faith Oluwamuyiwa, commended the General Overseer of MFM worldwide, Dr Daniel Olukoya, and his wife for their mentorship, which she noted had greatly transformed lives.
Oluwamuyiwa shared that her own life was a positive testimony of the impact of God’s work through Dr Olukoya and the MFM ministry. She expressed that her life could have ended in despair if not for the intervention of the God of Olukoya.
The MRO added that with the visit of Pastor (Mrs.) Olukoya and her deliverance prayers, the church, the community, the state, and the world at large would continue to witness positive, dramatic changes.
Speaking on the success stories of the Mega Region, Oluwamuyiwa noted that God had used MFM to save souls in the region.
She revealed that, apart from various salvation and deliverance programs, MFM Abijo was consistently paying bills, awarding scholarships, and providing cash gifts to people, including members of the host community, to support their businesses.
The church also offered various skill acquisition programs to lift both men and women out of poverty.
Additionally, she highlighted the church’s involvement in prison evangelism, food distribution, and visits to homes for the elderly and the rejected, all to win souls for Christ.
