Rainstorm : Ondo Lawmaker Visit Constituents, Provides Relief Materials to Affected Residents
The Ago-Panu Ward 9 area was recently ravaged by a rainstorm that destroyed many properties and left many counting their losses. Upon hearing the news, the ODHA Majority leader, Hon. Oluwole Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi (WEST) visited the area to commiserate with the people.
The ODHA Majority Leader, popularly known among his people as WEST, described the event as unfortunate because no one could prevent nature. Honourable West walked round to check the affected places and came across a widow whose home was left seriously affected. After checking around, the ODHA delivered relief materials to the affected people to lessen their burden and worries.
People who were affected by this rainstorm were given zinc in large quantities to take care part of the damages. Among the people who received the relief material is a widow, who lamented how things have been due to the situation of the economy. She stated she didn’t know what to do because she was financially constrained, but the Majority Leader’s intervention came at the right time. The residents commended the Majority Leader for showing up to witness their grief first-hand and supporting them when it looked like all hope was lost.
Furthermore, Honourable West promised to follow up on the matter and see how measures could be implemented to avoid further occurrence. Prominent leaders who accompanied him to the affected areas are Mr Fatai Agbaje (APC Chairman Ward 9), Princess Brown Ademulegun, Mrs Caroline Adegoroye, Mr Gbenga Fagbemi, Otunba Olanitori, and Mr Alausa.
