In a heartfelt appeal, Alhaja Kaola, a respected female Islamic scholar, visited the palace of the Ooni of Ife to solicit the monarch’s intervention in securing the release of three individuals detained in connection with the unfortunate incident at the Ibadan Christmas party.

Specifically, Alhaja Kaola requested the Ooni’s assistance in obtaining the release of Naomi, the monarch’s ex-wife, as well as Oriyomi Hamzat and the school principal, who have been held in detention.
