President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of six presidential liaison aides to the six geo-political zones of the federation.
The president said that the six liaison aides would directly engage Nigerians in each of the zones on his economic policies and programmes.
According to the details of the appointment in a release, the six Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) to the President for the Presidential Zonal Community Engagement include Moremi Ojudu (South-West); Chioma Nweze (South-East); Gift Johnbull (South-South); Abiodun Essiet (North-Central); Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai (North-West) and Abdulhamid Yahaya Abba (North-East).
“They have been tasked with returning to their communities in the geo-political zones to engage directly with citizens.
“Their mission is to ensure that the President’s policies and programmes are well understood and that public feedback is actively incorporated into the government’s agenda,” the statement added.
