I Thessalonians 5:18 KJV.
“In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you”.
MESSAGE
In everything, in all situations of life, both pleasant and unpleasant, even when the circumstances prove contrary; the bible says we should give thanks to God. For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you and me.
☆☆☆ In all that Job went through, even when his wife asked him to curse God and die; the bible says, in all this, Job did not sin against God. Read Job 2:9-10.

☆☆☆ The popular song, “it is well with my soul”, was written by a very successful Christian lawyer; Heratio Spafford.
☆☆☆ His only son died at the age of 4 in 1871. In 1872 the great Chicago fire wiped out his vast estate built from a successful legal career.
☆☆☆ In 1873, he sent his wife and 4 daughters over to Europe on a summer trip on the ill fated Ville Du Havre. He planned to join them later as he had so much job on ground to do. The ship sank and he lost his 4 daughters, with his wife being the only survivor.
☆☆☆ His wife later sent him a famous telegram message which simply read SAVED ALONE.
☆☆☆ On his return home, his law firm was burnt down and the insurance company refused to pay. They said it was an act of God. He had nothing left, no home and no job. Then while sitting and thinking about what is happening to him, being a spiritual man, he wrote a song 👇
When peace, like a river, attendeth my soul,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

☆☆☆ Beloved, a good and thankful attitude will determine your altitude in life.
☆☆☆ When you look at your life, career, job, family, etc, what do you say? Do you praise God or blame the devil?
☆☆☆ A thankful heart towards God makes him move on your behalf. Just sit down and say it is well with my soul. I am thankful, I have a peaceful sleep. I am thankful, I am alive with possibilities. I am thankful, I have a roof over my head. I am thankful, I have a job. I am thankful, I have a family and friends.
☆☆☆ Above all, I am thankful, I have the Lord Jesus on my side and my tomorrow shall be alright.
Whatever situation we are passing through, we should learn to thank God all the same.
God is good, everything he does is perfect, he can never be wrong.
☆☆☆ Beloved, Heratio Spafford and his wife later had 3 daughters and they also adopted a son.
☆☆☆ It is well with your soul.
☆☆☆ Our God is ever so faithful and good. He can never be wrong.
PRAYERS
1. Father Lord, please don’t try my faith in you with calamities in Jesus name.
2. I know you are a faithful father, please Lord; strengthen my faith to always wait on you till my appointed time shall come.
3. Your word says, many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him from them all. I table my challenges before you Lord, turn them to testimonies in Jesus name.
4. Even when I can’t see how I will get out of a particular trouble but please Lord, show yourself strong and faithful on my behalf.
5. Children are the future of any family, my present will not bury my future in Jesus name.
6. No crisis can overcome Christ, father, please see me through every unpleasant situation that I am currently passing through in Jesus name.
7. Fill my mouth Lord with bountiful songs of thanksgiving in Jesus name.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
I decree, you will not become an example of evil occurrences in Jesus name.
Whenever and wherever sudden death is set to occur, I decree, you and yours shall not become partakers in Jesus name.
The evil winds that will blow this year shall not come near your habitation in Jesus name.
I decree and declare, the devil will not swallow the reward of your life efforts in Jesus name.
I decree, whatever the enemy has stolen from you shall the Lord restore in multiples in Jesus name.
Your tomorrow shall be brighter and better than today.
You shall become the example of God’s faithfulness in Jesus mighty name.
