Police Confirm Gunmen Killing Of Church Pastor, Woman In Taraba State
The police identified the cleric as Reverend Clement Sunday Anthony, while the other victim was yet to be identified.
The Nigeria Police Force, Taraba State command, has confirmed that a pastor and a woman have been shot dead by gunmen in Jalingo, the state capital.

The spokesperson for the Taraba State Police command, SP Usman Abdullahi, told SaharaReporters on Sunday that the cleric and the woman were murdered on Friday night.
“The woman was shot in the stomach while reading for an examination in her room; the pastor was also shot dead at a neighbouring compound.
“However, the gunmen did not kidnap any person or cart away money or any valuable from the two compounds they attacked,” SP Abdullahi said.
He did not, however, disclose the pastor’s church denomination.
