Papa Ajasco meets ‘long-time friend’ Tinubu at Lagos airport
Abiodun Ayoyinka, the ace Nigerian actor popularly known as Papa Ajasco, on Wednesday, met with President Bola Tinubu in Lagos.
The meeting, captured in a viral video, shows Tinubu, 72, dressed in traditional attire, inviting Papa Ajasco to approach him at the presidential wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA).
The actor, 64, then walked past the president’s security personnel and aides, bowed down to show respect as the duo exchanged brief pleasantries.

It is believed that the pair are long-time friends.
Tinubu is in the commercial capital of Nigeria to celebrate the Christmas and New Year festivities.
Before heading to Lagos, the president presented the sum of N49.7 trillion as the proposed budget for 2025 to the national assembly.
Tinubu said the proposed budget reinforces his administration’s roadmap to secure peace, prosperity, and hope for a greater future for Nigeria.
“This budget christened, “Budget of Restoration: Securing Peace, Rebuilding Prosperity,” strikes at the very core of our Renewed Hope Agenda and demonstrates our commitment to stabilizing the economy, improving lives, and repositioning our country for greater performance,” he said.

Ayoyinka is renowned for his role in ‘Papa Ajasco & Company’, a TV series created by Wale Adenuga Productions (WAP).
The series is an offshoot of a film of the same name directed by Wale Adenuga and released in 1984.
The Ajasco Family and their satirical takes on significant problems facing society.
The primary cast consists of the womanising patriarch Papa Ajasco, his long-suffering wife, Mama Ajasco, their mischievous son Bobo Ajasco, and a local playboy named Boy Alinco.
