ORSU CLAN OF ORLU LGA ENDORSES OMEOGO, Other APC Candidates.
The people of Orsu clan in Orlu LGA have endorsed the candidature of Hon. High Chief Canice Moore Chukwugozie Nwachukwu (Omeogo, Ogbaturuenyi Na Orlu), the APC candidate for Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency and as well as other APC candidates in the zone in the forthcoming general elections.
The occasion which was organized by the Orsu clan was to make their stand known that, Omeogo, who is their son, is their sole candidate for the federal house of representatives and that they will do whatever it takes to galvanize and mobilize every single vote in Orsu clan for Omeogo and support him till he is declared winner after the election of February 25, 2023.
The chairman of the planning committee of the event, Chief Ikenna Henry Egwuatu (Ozuomee) made it clear that Orsu clan has no other candidates vie for the position of federal house of representatives except Omeogo.
The Orsu clan of Orlu LGA is made up of seven wards namely, Ohaeke Okporo ward, Amaifeke ward, Ohafor/Umutanze ward, Ogberuru/Obi ward, Ihiteowere ward, Okwuabala ward and Ebenese Umuezennachi ward.
They also went ahead to endorse the candidature of Hon. Barr. Ikenna Ihezuo (Ikemba) for Orlu state consistency, Distinguished Senator Osita Izunaso as the candidate for the Senate in Orlu zone and Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu as they candidate for the presidential election.
The motion for the endorsements was moved by Hon. Greg Ngobidi Nwosu, the Coordinator of Orlu North Development Center who is from Ihiteowere ward and seconded by Hon. Pastor Chris Mbarie, the Solad of Orlu LGA who is from Amaifeke ward. A voice vote was carried out and those in support had the day without any single objection.
Remember that Orlu LGA politics is played and shared between two clans of Orsu clan and Isu clan. Also remember that the leadership of Isu clan two weeks ago also endorsed Omeogo as their sole candidate for house of representatives.
