Queen Zainab Otiti Obanor, former wife of the Ooni of Ife, has shared a message of hope and resilience as she welcomes the new year.
In an Instagram post, Queen Zainab expressed gratitude for the challenges she has faced, acknowledging their role in fostering resilience and appreciation. She expressed her hopes for the year, praying for courage to embrace new challenges and the inspiration to dream big.
“As we stand on the threshold of a new year, I reflect on the mercy of God that has carried us through both trials and triumphs,” she wrote. “I pray that this year brings us courage to face new challenges, adventures that excite our spirits, and the possibilities that inspire us to dream bigger and conquer those dreams.”
Following the end of her marriage to the Ife monarch, Queen Zainab relocated to Doha, Qatar, where she has successfully established a new life. She built a thriving business, owning several prominent stores in the country.
Also, she has found love again, marrying a wealthy Arab prince and welcoming a daughter.
