One injured as truck overturns on Lagos bridge
A truck loaded with cowhide popularly called ‘ponmo’ tumbled from the Mile 2 Oke bridge in Lagos on Thursday.
According to eyewitnesses, the crash was caused by ‘agberos’ who wanted to collect money from the driver.
Sharing details of the accident, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority on X said, “A loaded truck lost control while descending the Mile 2 Ramp inwards the Apapa Oshodi, falling off the road and spilling its content in the process.
“The casualty is being attended to and safety measures are being put in place.”
