One Killed In Plateau State As #EndBadGovernance Protests Intensify
Alfred Alubo, Public Relations Officer for the Plateau State Command, has confirmed the incident and assured that security personnel have been deployed to the affected areas to prevent further violence and restore order.
Violence erupted during the #EndBadGovernance protest in Jos North on Sunday, resulting in at least one reported fatality.
The incident occurred in the Bauchi Road area of Jos North Local Government, where youths attacked businesses, leading to the escalation of the situation.
The protests, which began on August 1, aimed to address issues of bad governance and hunger, but took a turn for the worse as thousands of youths and children took to the streets, targeting businesses and markets.
