ONDO NURTW SAGA: ONE KILLED, JACOB IDAJO CALL FOR CALM, URGE GOVT TO RELEASE SECURITIES TO SAFE CITIZEN’S
As the Govt of Ondo State suspend all activities of the NURTW in the state, in what look like war as some faction of the union stood to kick against the govt decisions, many Hoodlums was seen around the popular oba adeside road in Akure on Monday evening with all sorts of guns,merchets and other dangerous weapons.
In a news gathered by our heritage reporter , Comrade Jacob Idajo the newly sworned in chiarman of park management in ondo State,has call for calm and urge the govt to release security agencies to the different parks to maintain orderliness.
According to Idajo, we have some element in govt backing up this thugs, but we will not go thier way for peace to reign in our state.
As I speak with you one of my guys was short down yesterday and currently in the mortuary as I speak with you, Ifedayo ayodele was killed yesterday evening with some other running to escape for thier lives.
We can’t continue like this , the will of the govt must be adhere to by all and sundries, I therefore repeat that we won’t fight back this horror but instead sue for peace in the interest of the people and the Ondo State govt.
I therefore urge the state government to release security agencies ranging from the army, Police, amotekun and civil defense
In other to maintain peace and orderliness.
I am a peaceful person and I think the best we can do is to settle all issues amicably in other to develop Ondo State in line with the development plans and agenda of the state government under the leadership of Arakunrin oluwarotimi Akeredolu, Idajo said.
