Ondo Local Government Chairmen Appointment – Oluwateru Congratulates Olaniyi, others
A member of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, Mr Olakunle Oluwateru has felicitated with Hon. Gbenga Olaniyi fondly known as “Hostwell” by political associates on his appointment as Chairman of the interim management committee of Akure South Local government.
Oluwateru also applauds the the appointment of other chieftains of the party as Chairman of local council development area within the state capital.
In a congratulatory message signed by him on Wednesday in Akure, Ondo State capital, he urged them to work with their respective Vice Chairman to bring the much needed development to the council.
“Our local government are yearning for development and my admonition to those chosen, is to see their appointment as a call to service. The development of the local councils should take the centre stage in whatever they are doing”
“Governance at that level has been relegated to the background. They should think outside the box to reinvigorate and make things happen at the local government level.
Oluwateru stated that he believes in the ability to those appointed to turn things around with their local government and local council development area.
“They are all vibrant men and women of our great party whose irrepressible grassroots appeal is legendary”
