The Ondo state House of Assembly has commenced its legislative assignments today after about two months emergency covid 19 out break recess .
Welcoming the members of the house , the speaker of the house Rt Hon.bamidele Oleyelogun appreciated the legislative members for their proactive roles and generousities on the covid 19 lockdown parliatives destributed to their respective constituencies to cushion the effect of the lockdown in the state
Also, the house invited the Hon. commissioner for finance in the state Hon. wale Akinterinwa to brief and sheld more light on how about the 14.8b appropriation was expendentes so far on the environmental and infrastructural projects .
Earlier, moving the motion on the appropriations, the chairman committee on finance and appropriation in the house, Olajide Sunday Hon David pleads to the members to allow the state finance commissioner to sheld more light on the development.
While submitting, Hon. wale Akinterinwa hinted the house that it was expendentes on the development of the state infrastructures in which have become necessary to progress of the state.
In his contribution, a member of the finance and appropriations committee Dr Abiodun Faleye representing Akure North state constituency specifically commended the roles and competence of the commissioner asking him to put more commitments at ensuring proper accountability stating that the finance commissioner should able to give adequate explanation on the expenditure of the appropriation .
In his remarks, the speaker of the house Rt Hon. Bamidele Oleyelogun ordered the finance commissioner to bring all documents backing the appropriations to the committee of finace and appropriations in the house on Thursday 14th of may 2020 for clearing.
