The Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Emergency Response, Hon (Prince) Wellington Oriade Adebawo, met with the Chairman of Ondo State Hospitals’ Management Board (HMB), Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti on Thursday, February 20, to discuss areas of collaboration and strategies to enhance emergency medical services in the state.
The meeting, held at the HMB office in Alagbaka, Akure, was also attended by a member of the board, Mrs Arinola Adamolekun and the DFA, Mr. Oladunjoye
During the meeting, Hon. Adebawo, Dr. Fasoranti, Mrs Adamolekun and Mr Oladunjoye engaged in fruitful discussions on how to strengthen the emergency response system in Ondo State. They explored ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of emergency medical services, ensuring that citizens receive prompt and quality care in times of need.
The Board Chairman, Dr. Fasoranti emphasized the importance of collaboration between government agencies and stakeholders in the healthcare sector. He stressed that a unified approach is essential in addressing the emergency medical needs of the state’s population.
Hon. Adebawo reiterated that Ondo State can develop a robust emergency response system that saves lives. The meeting also touched on the need for upgraded infrastructure and equipment in hospitals and emergency response centers across the state.
The meeting was brought to a close with a commitment from both parties to work closely together to implement the discussed strategies and initiatives. Hon. Adebawo assured the HMB of his continued support and collaboration in enhancing emergency medical services in Ondo State.
