The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, removed the entire management board of the Ondo State Football Agency.

The governor’s decision means that the former Executive Chairman, Dele Ologun, along with other board members, will no longer continue in their roles.

They have been asked to return all government items in their possession to the agency’s accounting officer.

This move comes as the governor looks to bring changes to the way Sunshine Stars Football Club is managed.

A new caretaker committee has been chosen to temporarily take charge of the club’s activities.

The group is led by Tokunbo Akinyelure, who will serve as the Team Manager and also handle welfare matters.

The new team includes members responsible for various duties such as kits, media, special tasks, health, and camp coordination.

Each person has been assigned a clear role to help improve how the football club is run.

The team is expected to report directly to the Governor’s Office as they begin their new tasks.

Governor Aiyedatiwa wants the newly formed committee to focus on helping the club do better in future matches and bring pride to the state’s football fans.
