ONDO ELECTION : GOVERNOR AIYEDATIWA’S AIDE, PRINCE ADEBAWO CALLS FOR SAFETY AS POLITICAL PARTIES BEGINS CAMPAIGN

The special Assistant to the Governor of Ondo state on Emergency Response, prince Adebawo has called on all political parties in the state to be more cautious, especially as campaign begins ahead of the November 16th 2024 Governorship election.
Prince Adebawo in a statement released to newsmen in Akure on Monday afternoon retirerated on the need for careful and safe driving of all political drivers during the electioneering period.
According to him, I want to appeal to all political parties in Ondo state, to be very contious of safety as campaign officially begins, we must ensure that we drive responsibly in other to avoid unnecessary accident and injury during the campaign tour.
We have eighteen local Government areas in Ondo state, and I believe that all the major political parties will travel across to all these local governments to seek for supports and votes, hence, there is need to pass a safety message across to all political parties, Hon. Adebawo said.
We must also ensure that our political activities do not disturb the daily activities of the people in the state, as such we must ensure that we do not pack our campaign vehicles on the road, proper measures must be made to ensure safety of lives and political instruments such as vehicles and other gadgets.
On our own part, we will continue to play vital role in ensuring sanity and safety of the people as emergency response team, our tolling number has been placed above, kindly call on us in case of any emergency.
From the emergency response team of the state, we wish all political parties a safe and accident free campaign, the Governor aide said.
